Wrestling Open continues rolling on the road to Americanrana and NO RESPECT! The Eliminator Cup Finals were set last week and we’ll have those team clashing in singles actions tonight! But first, SPOTLIGHT MATCH!

Spotlight Match: “The Dream Crusher” Danny Miles vs Landon Hale

Miles is raging forward but Hale is keeping pace and reversing like whoa. Hot shot from Miles turns the tide and he works to stretch Hale out. Hale staggered over and over with hard shots. Landon headbutts free, scramble to a handspring stunner and a back suplex for two! Hale’s midsection is hurting but he goes for the finish. Miles rakes the eyes, hits a big cannonball and fireman’s carry gutbuster for the win!

Winner: Danny Miles

And we’re liiiiiive on IWTV! We open with a Max Caster promo, coming to us live from his studio. He has a message for Ichiban, he’s tired of doing things the Wrestling Open way. This week he’s giving Ichiban a taste of TV wrestling. It’s gonna be a Beat The Clock Challenge and if Ichiban wins, he gets another shot at the 10k! Rich Palladino is your announcer! Paul Crockett & Drew Cordeiro are your commentators! Let’s goooooo!

Match 1: Victor Chase vs Kylon King

The first of our two Eliminator Cup preview matches! Chase is stunned early and hard by the powerhouse of the Miracle Ones. Chase is a powerhouse too and catches King out of the air…blasts him to the post and apron to take over. King trying to fight back but Chase is just battering him. Big bear hug but Kylon throwing elbows to get free. He pops to the top, Chase double chops him off the top to the floor. Kylon’s looking hurt, holding his knee and back. Chase bring him back for a BRUUUUUTAL spike Michanoku driver. King fights off the top and hits  a superplex but his back is shot. King throwing clotheslines, big German! Chase rolls out and King’s dive hits the mark this time! Crowd firing up for Kylon! Missile dropkick but it’s not enough! Chase with a buckle bomb but King hits a suplex into the buckles. Chase has Kylon up but King comes down in a victory roll. He’s got the legs and the three!!!

Winner: Kylon King

JGeorge is out here. He was supposed to wrestle CPA but apparently that’s a liability so JGeorge brings out a body double for CPa. Who is this guy? The real CPA is here and comes off the top with a dropkick! The body double tries to attack but CPA sends him flying.

Match 2: JGeorge vs CPA

The bell rang as CPA came off the top. JGeorge catches him with a leg lariat as he’s distracted by the body double. Who WAS that guy? JGeorge throwing junkyard headbutts and hard punches but he takes himself too seriously and CPA catches him mugging for the camera. JGeorge with another headbutt, superkick and slingshot senton! This is probably the most aggressive JGeorge we’ve seen so far. CPA stuck in a gory special but he takes off a shirt to escape! Form 619! Shirts coming off! Pop up powerbomb! Ddt off the top for two! JGeorge avoids crunching the numbers, he looks to set up a pumphandle but uses CPA’s own arm to low blow him. A scissor kick puts the popular accountant down for the count.

Winner: JGeorge

Match 3: Anastasia Morningstar vs 50 Cal

Brother Greatness has sent his demon to deal with the man of twisted steel and sex appeal. Anastasia shoving Cal but he’s flexing hard and rips the crop top. He comes in and Morningstar holy water mists him. The Hispanic Mechanics run in to make the save as Morningstar leaves shouting “For the Church of Greatness!”

Winner: 50 Cal (by DQ)

Match 4: BRG (w/ his trusty steed Clip Clop) vs Johnny Santos

BRG gets into a dance off with Santos. He’s flossing. Santos easily out does him. BRG gets Clip Clop into the dance fray and Santos take La

Him as a dance partner. BRG with a do si do and Santos eats buckles. Short clothesline for two! Santos fighting out of danger, big back body drop! Santos with a pull up dance clothesline. We get two amigos but BRG catches him with a ddt. One superkick and a killswitch later, BRG rides Clip Clop victorious into the sunset.

Winner: BRG

Rich is ready to announce the next match but he gets an emergency message. This match is sponsored by the Jaz Tip of the Day. A paid sponsorship so Rich has to read it. “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.” Ray Jaz isn’t here! Rich apologizes as the crowd starts chanting “Ray Jaz is a piece of s***!” This was a GREAT spot.

Match 5: Randy Rivera & Armani Kayos vs The Mane Event (Jay Lyon and Midas Black)

The Mane attacks aggressively right out the gate. They do not want to leave Open with another L. Big pop up splash and Lyonsault for a near fall! Kayos pulls the leg of Lyon and gets Stivers in to take over. MEANWHILE, Pedro Dones is out her with his contract folder and taking notes on the match? Who is he scouting? Rivera giving the beatdown to Lyon, working the back. Kayos is preening and Lyon catches him out of the air with a German. Rivera breaks up the tag! Spinning side slam to Kayos! Midas tags in! He hits a million dollar dream slam! Kayos makes the save! Lyon whiffs a handspring kick! Kayos with a hip attack to Black. Rivera pop up bombs Lyon into Midas! Lyon tags on but the ref misses it, Grand Finale! Lyon’s not legal! In the chaos, Kayos pokes the eye of Midas and rolls him up for three while Rivera holds Lyon’s leg in the ropes! Oh no not again!

Winners: Armani Kayos & Randy Rivera

Match 6: Better Together (Ori Gold & Hadar Horowitz) vs “Iron” Rip Byson

It’s a tornado handicap match! Better Together charges Rip! Double superkick! Byson just eats in and destroys them with corner splashes. Double fireman’s carry squat and fallaway splash to BT! Byson with a spine buster and a burning hammer. He stacks Better Together and pins them in a pile!

Winner: Rip Byson

Byson grabs the mic. That was fun but he’s still mad at Pedro Dones for how he took apart Perry Von Vicious a few weeks ago. Next week, Byson wants payback for his friend.

Match 7: The Hispanic Mechanics (Jos A & Jos B) vs The Shook Crew (Bobby Orlando & Bryce Donovan w/ Bobby Jr)

I love that the Hispanic Mechanics have been getting this wild baby/baby match run through the Wrestling Open tag team division. These matches have been goofy fun every week. The crowd gets chanting and singing as they get to the lockup. JOS A DABS ON BOBBY?!? Test of strength turns to a dance party! Sick trick and Bobby macarenas at him! Jos B and Bryce get in…they battle at taking off their shirts! They dance at each other. Are pants coming off?!? Worcester after dark! Bryce cuts it off, Jos B stuck in the tree! Donovan dropkicks! B out, whiffs a fist drop, Orlando’s in! Bobby slams for everyone…even Bryce?!? Almost! B dumped to the floor, A suplexed with a dropkick chaser and Shook Crew picks up the pin!

Winners: Shook Crew

Bryce on the stick. Bakabella and Channing Thomas MUST be shook since they ran away from them last week. Orlando wants Channing Thomas. Sidney Bakabella out here “Your Mama wants Channing Thomas” and he dabs at him! If Bakabella won’t bring out Thomas…they offer to fight the Graysons next week. If they win, Orlando gets his match with World Bish…and he picks the stipulation. Bakabella agrees…but if the Graysons win, he gets custody of Bobby Junior! Orlando is down for it. Be shook!

Match 8: Even Stevens (Steve Azure & Steven Somerset) vs Teddy Goodz & Little Mean Kathleen

This altar boys gimmick is so wonderfully odd. Team Flavortown really wants some payback on the Church of Greatness. Somerset tries to use his scarf to toss Goodz but Teddy just strangles him with it. LMK off the top and wrings the arm. Goodz with a double stomp through the arm. Somerset is just getting that limb worked until he’s able to get Azure in there. Azure faring the same, who needs arms? LMK with the stomp jog in the corner! Somerset blessing her? LMK distracted and misses the Flavor Bomb. The Stevens all over Kathleen. Full Nelson superkick comb and a Teddy has to make the save. Head scissor escape from a magic killer, Azure blasted with a German! Tag to Teddy and he’s going wild! Goodz serving up corner splashes and atomic drops. Goodz power slams LMK into Somerset. WHAZZZZZZZZUP?!?! Azure tosses Goodz, Somerset accidentally superkicks Azure when LMK ducks. Teddy tosses LMK into a stunner on Somerset for the win!

Winners: Teddy Goodz & LMK

Anastasia Morningstar is out her and decks LMK! The Stevens are back to win the numbers game and they leave Goodz and LMK laying as the Church stands tall in defeat.

Match 9: Platinum Max Caster vs Nolo Kitano (Beat the Clock Challenge)

They don’t WANT Caster to say a word but Max has some words for the people of Worcester and they response with a well-earned STFU. He’s here to show all our faces how to do “real wrestling, TV wrestling”. As for Ichiban, he’s not even here…but Max will do his match this week and MAYBE Number One shows up next week? Max brings the briefcase right into play. Big superkick and Nolo is already on the backpedal at the 30 second mark. Nolo with a slap but Max just drops him with a back suplex. Caster taking Nolo apart but he’s not working with much urgency? Nolo grabs the rollup but Max is still is firm control….until he crashes and burns into the buckles. Shotgun dropkick. Running knees and a backbreaker! Top rope double stomp for two! Max with a slap but that just angers Nolo. Kitano goes for a neckbreaker but Caster pokes the eye and posts him. Caster comes running and hits Ichiban’s flatliner at 5:26 to get the win. Which of Caster’s many friends will try to last 5:26 with Ichiban next week?

Winner: Max Caster

Match 10: JCruz vs Dustin “Flash” Waller

Cruz is a brute and looks to out-muscle Waller tonight. Flash with the head scissor and high cross body for one! Cruz suckered in with a taunt but he slingshots Waller in for a powerslam and legdrop for two. Walker dodges a senton and almost steals it with a crucifix. Hard whip to Waller and Cruz is doing push-ups.  Lol. Huge falcon arrow! Waller fights off a gutwrench powerbomb and rana’s Cruz into the buckles. Waller with a flurry of flying forearms. Rolling DVD! Standing SSP for two! Cruz catches a handspring cutter! Bomb to the corner! Driver for two! Waller escapes a brain buster to a stunner! Handspring cutter connects! Dustin going up top! 450 and Cruz is down for the definitive three! Brick City Boyz go 0-2 tonight!

Winner: Dustin Waller

Backstage with Big Bacon Brad Hollister. He has the hand-picked mystery opponent for Tyree Taylor tonight but he’s really looking forward to winning and forcing Taylor to never speak his name again. But who is the mystery opponent? Hollister is out here to do the intro….and it’s Steven Stetson, the expensive gun for hire. Hollister takes Drew’s spot at commentary so we can hear him whine.

Main Event: Tyree Taylor vs Steven Stetson

Hollister gassing up Stetson on commentary for being a big strong boy. Tyree with a big shoulder block and chops hard. Stetson with a hot shot and big boot! Seated senton to the back and Tyree is looking hurt early. Stetson choking Tyree on the rope. Big back suplex for two. Stetson stomping Tyree out at the 5 min mark, the cow boy is all over the big boy from

Brooklyn. Tyree out, corner shoulder tackle! Tyree tosses him off the top! Starts on ducks the discus but runs into a huge uranage for two! Hollister sounding angry at Paul trying to call the match. Tyree blocks a suplex, hits the discus but they’re both down. Hollister running out of commentary and gives Stetson something. It’s a chair! Hollister distracts the ref but Tyree gets the chair! It’s the Guerrero special! Tyree smashes the chair to the mat and tosses it to Stetson and falls down as the ref turns back around. Hollister is furious as the ref disqualifies Steven Stetson for “using” the chair! Hollister is in shock as we fade to black!

Winner: Tyree Taylor (by DQ)

And that’s it for week 32! This was a highly enjoyable episode and what a GOOD POP on that main event finish! I may hate Ray Jaz but forcing the crowd to boo Rich Palladino was a stroke of genius. Two weeks in a row of Paul Crockett commentary driving the story home has really put a spotlight on just how much he has grown in the main commentary role over the years. He was good before but he’s hitting another level over these past 8 months of Wrestling Open. Between the Goat Custody battle, the holy wars, the beat the clock challenge, we had Lots of storyline movement tonight but also, we are getting the hype train a’rollin’ for NO RESPECT! I’m back in Worcester next week! See you next Thursday!
