Did you happen to hear Tony Khan on Busted Open Radio this week?  He talked about how wrestling writers would say his talent is going to jump to the other place.  Who are these writers?  You guys haven’t said that.

I honestly have no idea who he reads but I will say this: He should stop.  Immediately. The fact that he cares so much about what writers think about his company business kind of blows my mind. He knows the details of his business.  He shouldn’t care if writers say things that aren’t true.  He KNOWS the truth.  As I have said before, act like you have been there before Tony!

Also, are there people in AEW who would considering going back to WWE now that HHH is in charge?

I think anyone, including Khan, would be naive to think that with Vince McMahon no longer being the creative force in WWE working for the company got a lot more attractive to at least some wrestlers, especially those who worked with HHH in NXT.  Khan cited Malakai Black and Adam Cole being under contract for the better part of 5 years.  They aren’t going anywhere obviously.  But to a wrestler whose deal expires in the near future?  Oh yeah, I would definitely be seeing what HHH has to offer me.  Khan isn’ stupid.  He knows that and it’s probably why topic is a sore subject with him. He can say whatever he wants but the truth is that Vince being forced out will have an adverse affect on his business.  If nothing else, it will give the talent more leverage when they are negotiating contracts.

Also, did you notice that even though he said Forbidden Door a few times and named other promotions, he didn’t mention WWE or any of the people involved by name?

I did indeed.  It jumped out like Jericho pulling out his blade on camera at Barbed Wire Everywhere.  Very obvious.

Do think he did that on purpose and if so why?

As I said above, he’s not a fool.  He knows that with Vince out, WWE just became a lot more attractive to a lot of the talents, especially those that have a good relationship with HHH.  They know what HHH saw in them in NXT and they also know that once they got to the main roster, he was out of the decision making in how they would be used.  That is no longer the case.  Take Karrion Kross for instance.  Paul handed Vince the kind of character that WWE used to love and Vince blew it.  If HHH called Kross and asked him if he were interested in coming back, I think the answer would be a lot different than it would have been a week ago.

I saw Rush lick Mox’s blood on Dynamite (I can’t believe I wrote that in 2022).  It made me wonder, if a wrestler got AIDs or another disease from the blood, could he or she sue Tony Khan?

I honestly don’t know the answer to that but if it were me, I would find a lawyer to answer that question for me if Tony didn’t want to give me an eight figure settlement if I got sick from bloodletting on his TV show.  I don’t want to see it happen but at least if it did, maybe Count Dracula Khan would stop using the blade as if it were a collar and elbow tie up.  It’s not a transition spot.  If it’s going to be done blading should mean something and it doesn’t in AEW because of its overuse.
