COULD VINCE RETURN AS A PERFORMER?, DOES HHH'S RISE TO POWER MEAN GARGANO & BRAY WILL RETURN, THE NXT TALENT WHO IS IN A MUCH BETTER POSITION TODAY VS. A WEEK AGO AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2022-07-29 10:00:00

Do you think Triple H starts bringing back the Johnny Garganos of the world to WWE for the main roster?

I think that we can't assume anyone is coming back or being called up just because Triple H is now in charge of creative.  I think each talent and each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis.  If HHH thinks he has an idea for Gargano and Gargano WANTS to go back to work full-time for WWE after just having his first child with Candice LaRae, then they will work it out.  I don't think it's fair to assume every single person who ever worked for NXT will be on the Wrestlemania card in Los Angeles.

Can we finally get a main roster call up for Roderick Strong now?

Now THIS I am with you on.  Triple H has always been a big fan of Roderick Strong and has described him as a talent that is so great that some won't realize that greatness until later on, like an Arn Anderson.  Strong has been criminally underused in the technicolor dream that is NXT 2.0 and if there's one immediate talent who I hope gets utilized more, it should be Strong going forward.

Do we see a Bryan Wyatt coming back?

If Wyatt didn't fit into Vince McMahon's vision of the company, that doesn't mean he's not going to fit into Triple H's.  Where did he first rise to fame?  WWE NXT.  I think it's safe to say we are probably closer to Wyatt returning than we were a week ago, but like the Gargano example above, it all depends on what both sides want, whether the timing works and whether it benefits all involved.

Do you think HHH and Stephanie return as on camera characters?

I think if they believe it will benefit the company, they will.  I would advise they don't rush into that as the last thing you want is to start relying on names who aren't going to be taking bumps or on the live events as your central figures.

Hear me out here: Even after all this is done, could WWE bring back Vince McMahon as a performer on their shows?

Technically, there is nothing preventing that.  However, I don't see it happening anytime, ESPECIALLY in the near future, given there are potential federal and criminal investigations ongoing as mentioned by The Wall Street Journal.  I can see Vince McMahon pitching the idea of a "ruined Mr. McMahon" coming back as a disgraced janitor or something on WWE TV, but I really can't envision anyone executing that plan, ever.
