WWE results from Utica, New York, USA at Adirondack Bank Center on 7/24/22:
AJ Styles pinned The Miz after The Phenomenal Forearm. Miz tried to attack Styles on the ramp as Styles was making his way to the ring. They brawled with Styles getting the better of it. Styles threw Miz into the ring and gave him a series of chops in the ring corner then rammed his head into all the top turnbuckles. Miz was able to get control and slowed the pace with some rest holds. Styles fought back and gave him the Ushigoroshi. He tried to follow with the Styles Clash but Miz was able to slip away and give him a DDT. Miz went for the Skull Crushing Finale but Styles countered it with a roll up. Miz backdropped Styles to the ring apron but Styles landed on his feet and gave him a forearm shot when he turned around followed by the finisher for the win.
Rey Mysterio pinned Damian Priest with a roll up when Priest tried to give him a choke slam. After the match, Priest attacked him and was going to give him the Razor's Edge until Drew McIntyre made the save. They brawled a bit then Mysterio recovered to help McIntyre clothesline Priest out of the ring. McIntyre got on the mic and honored Mysterio's milestone 20th Anniversary in WWE.
Sheamus and Drew McIntryre had another house show confrontation to build up their match on WWE Smackdown this Friday. McIntyre gave him a Claymore Kick.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther (with Ludwig Kaiser) pinned Ricochet after a powerbomb.
WWE Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair won a 4-Way Match over Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Carmella by pinning Carmella after the KOD. Asuka knocked Lynch out of the ring with the hip attack then Carmella superkicked Asuka out of the ring before the finish.
WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions The Usos defeated The Street Profits after Montez Ford was pinned with a roll up and illegally holding tights when Chad Gable and Otis came out and caused a distraction. The Street Profits superkicked Gable and Otis out of the ring after.
WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Liv Morgan went to a No Contest Ronda Rousey when Natalya and Shayna Baszler ran down to attack them. Rousey immediately tried to grab Morgan's arm to go for the arm bar at the start of the match but Morgan slipped away. Morgan ducked one of Rousey's kicks and cradled her up for a one count. Rousey swung and tried to take Morgan's head of with a clothesline but Morgan ducked and did a Matrix move. Rousey then simply punched her in the stomach while she was bridged up. Rousey tried to lock on the arm bar but Morgan clutched on. Rousey lifted Morgan up in the air with one arm and tried to do a powerbomb but Morgan countered with a head scissors. Big knee shot to the face by Rousey who then followed it up with a sleeper hold attempt. Morgan powered up to her feet and gave Rousey a series of elbows. Rousey went back to try the sleeper hold but Morgan fought her off again and gave her a leg sweep. Rousey tried to go for a Victory Roll but Morgan slammed her face first on the top turnbuckle and then held on and gave her an Eclectic Chair Slam. As Morgan charged at Rousey in the ring corner Natalya and Shayna Baszler popped up on the ring and attacked them. (They told a good story of Morgan not being afraid of Rousey and trying to find ways to counter Rousey's moves and holds). Just like last night in Bridgeport, Rousey got on the mic to challenge the heels to a tag team match.
WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey defeated Natalya and Shayna Baszler when Morgan pinned Baszler after the springboard flatliner. Rousey and Baszler started it off by doing some chain wrestling on the mat. Rousey tried to give a Piper's Pit but Baszler slipped away and shoved her off. Baszler tagged in Natalya who was reluctant to get in the ring with Rousey. Natalya rammed Rousey's face into a turnbuckle and then threw her out of the ring after the referee separated them in the ring corner. Rousey crawled back in but Natalya cut her off with some kicks. Natalya made a blind tag on Baszler and held Rousey for Baszler to hit Rousey. Of course Baszler ended up accidentally hitting Natalya and Rousey made the hot tag to Morgan. After the match, Morgan did the same promo word for word as last night in Bridgeport plugging WWE SummerSlam and telling Rousey it was cool to team up with her "for one night only."
Riddle pinned Seth Rollins in a Street Fight after a powerbomb into a table and then an RKO.
