Why would Tony Khan book a babyface Orange Cassidy against a babyface Wardlow? Doesn’t he realize it makes it hard for the crowd since they like both guys?
I didn’t understand that one either. The goal is to continue to establish Wardlow as a top babyface. He shouldn’t be wrestling a guy that the fans love. As you said, it leads to bad reactions. I have no idea why Khan thought that was a good idea.
What was the point of The Best Friends telling Cassidy he had no chance against Wardlow so he would have to cheat?
In continuing with the above, again I have no idea what they were thinking. That whole segment should have been chopped with Chuck’s chainsaw before it ever made it on TV.
With Ric Flair's last match coming up, do you honestly thing given Ric's history about things like this (IE "retirement match" in WWE as an example), it actually will be his last match or sometime next year we will be talking about how Ric wants to get in the ring "one more time" regardless if he actually does or not?
With almost every wrestler when they say they are retiring I take it with a grain of salt. In the case of Flair, I take it with a shaker of salt. He loves it too much and it will always call to him. I hope after this match, he doesn't answer again. It’s time to let let this be it.
I do not watch or follow the NWA, but I am a huge fan of The Smashing Pumpkins & Billy Corgan, so I know all about Billy's passion for pro wrestling. What are your thoughts on what he has done with the NWA so far?
I think he has done as well as can be expected with what he has to work with.
