With Ric Flair's Last Match PPV coming up on 7/31 streaming on FITE.TV from Nashville, PWInsider.com will be presenting some classic Flair moments that are floating around online.
Tenyru, a former Sumo wrestler was brought into professional wrestling by All Japan Pro Wrestling and its then-owner, the late Shohei "Giant" Baba. He was brought in as a major star from the start in the late 1970s and by the early 1980s was one of All Japan's cornerstone talents of that era. He consistently maintained a great work ethic in the ring and at the time of this bout, would have been seen as a more than legitimate contender for the title in Japan.
