NJPW STRONG REPORT: UNITED EMPIRE IN ACTION

Match Number One: Aaron Henare, Great O’Khan, Mark Davis, and Kyle Fletcher versus Mikey Nicholls, Bad Dude Tito, Shane Haste, and Jonah

All eight men brawl as the match starts. Henare and Haste stay in the ring and Henare with a back elbow and a springboard kick. Henare kicks Haste in the chest. Henare with a head but and he sends Haste into the turnbuckles. Khan tags in and he connects with Mongolian chops to the back. Khan sits on Haste on the turnbuckles. Khan stretches Haste on the turnbuckles. Khan knocks Nicholls and Tito off the apron but Jonah does not succumb. Davis tags in and he chops Haste.

Fletcher tags in and they hit a double chop and Fletcher with a kick followed by a back senton from Davis. Fletcher gets a near fall. Fletcher with a wrist lock and slam to Haste while holding on to the wrist lock. Fletcher with another slam and he holds on to the wrist lock. Nicholls has words for Fletcher but Fletcher knocks Nicholls off the apron. Fletcher slaps Haste. Nicholls trips Fletcher and Haste with a drop kick. Fletcher is sent face first into the apron. Jonah Irish whips Fletcher into the guardrails.

Jonah sends Fletcher back into the ring and Nicholls tags in. Nicholls with a chop. Nicholls keeps Fletcher from making the tag and he hits a belly-to-back suplex. Nicholls rakes the eyes and then hits a knee drop. Jonah tags in and he connects with shoulders in the corner. Fletcher with punches and he tries for a sunset flip but Jonah drops down and gets a near fall. Tito tags in and Jonah with a slam. Tito with a slingshot senton. Tito puts Fletcher in the tree of woe and Tito stands on his groin. Tito with kicks as Fletcher gets back to the mat. Haste tags in and kicks Fletcher in the back and chest. Fletcher with forearms and Haste with a drop kick. Nicholls tags in and they chop Fletcher to the mat. Nicholls with a kick to the head and he has some words for Fletcher. Nicholls pie faces Fletcher and then they exchange forearms. Nicholls with a chop and Fletcher chops back. They go back and forth. Fletcher with a super kick and Nicholls goes down. They try to stop each other from making the tag. Nicholls with an arm bar and Irish whip. Davis tags in and so does Tito. Davis with chops and he hits a splash on Nicholls and Haste. They kick Davis and Davis clothesliens Tito and then he clotheslines Nicholls and Haste. Jonah blocks a clothesline but he cannot stop an enzuigiri. Henare tags in and Tito with a forearm and he knocks Fletcher off the apron. They exchange forearms. Tito with a rolling elbow and Khan runs Tito into the corner and Davis with a forearm. Fletcher with a boot and then Henare with an assisted sit out power bomb for a near fall.

All eight men brawl again. Henare is Irish whipped and Jonah with a splash. Nicholls and Haste hit an assisted DDT. Tito with a frog splash for a near fall. Everyone pairs off and exchange forearms. Nicholls with a knee to Davis. Haste and Nicholls are sent to the apron and Fletcher drop kicks them off the apron. They clothesline Jonah over the top roe and then hit a double suicide dive onto everyone on the floor. Khan with a Mongolian chop to Tito followed by an irisb whip. Tito with a boot and Blockbuster to Khan. Henare and Tito exchange forearms. Henare with a punch to the midsection followed by a thrust kick and a head butt. Henare signals for a fisherman’s buster for the three count.

Winners: Aaron Henare, Great O’Khan, Mark Davis, and Kyle Fletcher

After the match, Great O’Khan gets on the mic. He tells everyone to bow down to United Empire. He continues to speak in Japanese.

We go to the back and Haste and Nichools talk about how Aussie Open is never able to beat them mano y mano. What would happen if you didn’t have anyone helping you. You have unleashed the beast. Nicholls says that pro wrestling and TMDK go side by side. We are not going to let you get in front of us. You will not walk on the shoulders of giants because we are giants and you are a couple of poseurs.

Match Number Two: Jeff Cobb versus Willie Mack

They lock up and Mack with a clean break. They lock up and Cobb backs Mack into the corner and he gives a clean break as well. They lock up and Mack with a side head lock. Mack adds a little to the side head lock with a shimmy. Mack counters a hip toss with a rollup and hits a head scissors take down. Mack with a chop. Mack asks if he should chops Cobb again and he gets Cobb to flinch so he goes for the nipples. Mack with flying shoulder tackles and a Norman Smiley slam.

Mack teases a five knuckle shuffle but he gives Cobb a leg drop instead. Mack slaps Cobb of the apron and Mack with a flip dive onto Cobb. The lights go out for a moment and Mack breaks the referee’s count and then he chops Cobb against the guardrails. Mack breaks the ref’s count again and he chops Cobb. Cobb sends Mack into the guardrails. Cobb gets back into the ring but Mack has trouble getting back in the ring but he beats the twenty count.

Cobb with a punch and chop. Cobb with a forearm to the back and he connects with forearms to the chest. Cobb stands on Mack’s back and he rides a few waves. Mack with punches too Cobb but Cobb with a head butt. Cobb with a chop and Mack with a flying kick to Cobb. Mack with a running forearm and a running boot into the corner. Mack hits a running back senton into the corner and he gets a near fall.

Mack gets Cobb up but Cobb gets to his feet. Cobb with a Northern Lariat and a short arm clothesline. Cobb with a moonsault. Mack with a Samoan drop and both men are down. Mack gets up and hits a standing moonsault for a near fall. Mack gets Cobb up but Cobb gets to his feet. Mack with a German suplex and an exploder. Mack gets a near fall. Mack goes up top.

Cobb punches Mack to stop him on the turnbuckles. Cobb with a jumping head butt to the shoulder. Cobb goes for a superplex and hits it. Cobb gets a near fall. Cobb misses a short arm clothesline and Mack with a sit out spinebuster for a near fall. Mack goes for a stunner but Cobb blocks it. Mack with a spinning heel kick. Cobb with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Jeff Cobb

We take a look at the first round matches for the Strong Tag Titles Tournament starting next week on NJPW Strong. They are Christopher Daniels and Yuya Uemura versus The Factory, TMDK versus West Coast Wrecking Crew, Stray Dog Army versus Midnight Heat, and Aussie Open versus The Dark Order.

Match Number Three Will Ospreay versus Homicide

They lock up and Ospreay backs Homicide into the corner and Homicide reverses things and he gives Ospreay a clean break. They lock up and Ospreay with a wrist lock. Homicide with a reversal. Will with an escape. They lock up and Will with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Homicide stays on his feet and he slaps Will and connects with a shoulder tackle. They exchange punches. Homicide with an Irish whip and monkey flip. Ospreay lands on his feet and hits a cross body. Ospreay with a wrist lock take down. Homicide with a drop toe hold and an STF.

Ospreay gets to the ropes to force a break. Will escapes a slam and Homicide sends him to the apron. Homicide knocks him to the floor. Ospreay with a shoulder tackle and then he hits a pescado onto Homicide. Will with a forearm and chop. Will and Homicide exchange forearms in front of the commentary table and Will rakes the eyes and returns to the ring to break the count. Will has some words for Kingston on commentary and Homicide pushes a chair at Will and hits a suplex on the ramp.

Homicide goes for a suplex on the stage but Will blocks it. Homicide with a neck breaker and he bites the hand. Homicide wraps the arm in the guardrail and kicks it. Homicide with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Will chops Homicide off the turnbuckles. Will tries to suplex Homicide back into the ring but Homicide blocks it and he drops Will on the top rope. Homicide gets a fork but Will bites his hand to stop Homicide. Will with a baseball slide and he sends Homicide back into the ring and gets a near fall.

Will with an elbow to the back of the head followed by punches and chops. Will with a suplex for a near fall. Homicide shows Ospreay that he thinks he is number one. They exchange slaps and head butts. Will kicks Homicide in the corner. Will with a seated abdominal stretch followed by elbows. Will with a slam and a knee cover for a near fall. Will stands on Homicide’s head and he has words for Kingston and Eddie gets up from the announce table and comes to ringside.

Homicide blocks a boot and Homicide with a tope onto Will. They return to the ring. Homicide with an exploder and he goes for a Tiger Driver but Will blocks it and counters with a rana. Will goes for a Frankensteiner but Homicide holds on to the ropes and then hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Homicide goes for the Cop Killer but Will blocks it and then hits a handspring round kick. Will with a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Will goes for a power bomb but Homicide blocks it. Will with Kawada Kicks. Homicide with a European uppercut. Will with a kick and enzuigiri. Homicide with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckles and both men are down. Homicide blocks an OsCutter. Will with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Will with an OsCutter for a near fall. Will sets for the back elbow but Homicide falls face first into the mat. Will kicks Homicide and he connects with forearms. Homicide punches back and he wants Will to hit him. Will with forearms and Homicide bites Will. Will with a super kick and he misses the back elbow. Homicide with a cutter for a near fall. Homicide goes for the Cop Killer and Will escapes. Homicide escapes a Stormbreaker. Homicide with a Cop Killer for a near fall. Homicide goes into the turnbuckle pad for a fork. The referee takes the fork and Will hits Homicide and follows with the back elbow. Ospreay with the Stormbreaker for the three count.

Winner: Will Ospreay

After the match, Aussie Open checks on Ospreay while Eddie Kingston checks on Homicide.

Ospreay is given a fork and he goes over to Homicide while flipping it.

Kingston sees Ospreay with the fork and he has some words for Ospreay and they square off and Kingston does not care how many of them are in the ring.

Homicide has some words for Ospreay before they briefly shake hands.

Homicide and Kingston leave the ring.
