Content Intelligence from Diesel Labs suggests WWE's latest installment, WrestleMania 38, is a significant success for Peacock and continues to pile drive engagement and audience benchmarks year-over-year.

? There was a 18.9% increase in engagement from WrestleMania 37 to WrestleMania 38, topping the 11.5% increase from 2020 to 2021

? 71.9% of the WrestleMania 38 audience were new engagers this year, never having engaged with WrestleMania 37 the previous year.

? Metrics surrounding WrestleMania 38 seem to support the continuing strategy to extend the mega event to two days as opposed to one (first implemented in 2021) ? The sports entertainment brand came in first place across all content conversation on Saturday while coming in third on Sunday

? This performance is truly a champion showing considering it was up against highly engaged with competition including March Madness, the 64th GRAMMY Awards and anticipatory conversation around the Kids’ Choice Awards 2022

? Top non-sports titles that the WrestleMania 38 audience has engaged with this year (Jan 1, 2022 - April 7, 2022) include The Batman, Euphoria, Peacemaker, Moon Knight and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

? Looking specifically at content available on Peacock, the top non-sports titles for this audience include Halloween Kills, The Office, Saved by the Bell and Bel-Air.

? Upcoming content most anticipated by the WrestleMania 38 audience feature comic book related content such as X-MEN ‘97 (Disney+), Kraven the Hunter (Sony Pictures), Black Adam (Warner Bros) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (Warner Bros).

? This audience is also looking forward to the next installment in the Halloween franchise, Halloween Ends, coming to theaters on Oct. 14, 2022.

? WrestleMania 38 did the power lifting for Peacock, driving a network audience lift of 5.3%*, the second largest audience driver of 2022 behind only the entire Winter Olympics at 6.27%

? It ranked 4th all time behind WrestleMania 37, Halloween Kills and the Winter Olympics respectively.

*Note: The WrestleMania 38 audience is defined as having engaged with the event from April 2-4, 2022. Audience lift may change slightly as final data around the event is processed.
