STARDOM results from Tokyo, Japan ???????? at Korakuen Hall on 2/21/22:
Miyu Matsuda came out and spoke to the crowd. As we reported yesterday, she passed her pro test and she will make her debut at the “New Blood 1” show on March 11. She told fans that she wants Utami Hayashishita to be her first opponent. Hayashishita came out and accepted the challenge. It will be the main event of that show.
Saki Kashima and Fukigen Death beat Koguma and Hanan when Kashima pinned Hana with My Emblem in 8:28.
Momo Watanabe pinned Mina Shirakawa after interference from Natsuko Tora in 10:11.
Saya Kamitani, Utami Hayashishita, and AZM beat Mayu Iwatani, Hazuki, and Momo Kohgo when AZM pinned Kohgo after a diving double foot stomp in 11:29.
Giuila, MIRAI, and Mai Sakurai beat Tam Nakano, Unagi Sayaka, and Waka Tsukiyama when Sakurai pinned Tsukiyama after a flying elbow drop in 15:20.
Thekla and Syuri went to 20-minute time limit draw with Risa Sera and Akane Fujita. Fujita was wearing her Ice Ribbon FantastICE Title before the match. Suzu Suzuki wanted to give Giuila a “gift” of a light tube as a threatening gesture for her birthday. It lead to another brawl once again between the Donna del Mondo and Prominence members.
Artists of STARDOM Champions Maika, Himeka, and NatsuPoi beat Starlight Kid, Ruaka, and Rina when NatsuPoi pinned Ruaka in 19:00. There was a big angle afterwards as Oedo Tai continued to attack. KAIRI appeared and made the save. Kid took a wild swing at KAIRI but KAIRI ducked and taunted Kid with a back fist. Kid challenged her to a match on the March 27 show. (KAIRI will be in action on March 26 in a tag match with Mayu Iwatani vs. Tam Nakano and Unagi Sayaka).
Starlight Kid has been a very impressive heel and she is one of the best promos with a mix of menacing and sultry tones. She’s only 20 but has been wrestling since October 2015.
As expected, the 2/23/22 show will be a pay-per-view. It starts at 1:30am EST. Wonder of STARDOM Champion Saya Kamitani vs. NatsuPoi is the main event.
