Do you think Vince will eventually infect NXT UK, or is it too far for him, both figuratively and literally to change?
I honestly hope he forgets he owns it. Beyond that, I hope that Shawn Michaels agreed to stay on if Vince didn’t touch UK. Beyond that, I fear that Vince will always take something that’s good and destroy it for people like us. That’s what he does. My take is that he doesn’t care if people like us are fans because we don’t appreciate his “vision”.
Is Vince becoming like a 2022 version of Verne Gagne? Oblivious to what is wrong with the product and a brick wall to change?
In some ways, yes he is. Unlike Verne though, Vince has massive TV deals in place to get him through the next two plus years. I think even when they expire, he will still be able to monetize WWE over the air, even if it comes at a cut in price.

Further to the question below; I know WWE has alternate plans for a talent that may contract COVID, but do they have alternate plans if a big movie or TV star contracts COVID and can't attend?
If history is an indicator, they may just not deaf with it until the actual time of the show.
At Extreme Rules, when Reigns faced Balor, they went into the crowd, and Reigns grabbed a face mask. McAfee said it was because he didn't want to breathe the same air as the crowd. But I was curious; was it because of COVID, and the compromises immune system Reigns had from his bout with Leukemia? If it was, kudos to him and WWE for taking precautions.
I don’t know for sure but my hunch is that is exactly why he did it. He’s a smart, decent person and that is what a smart, decent person would do.
