I was pretty vexed by Bully Ray's comments about Jon Moxley's return to AEW. To claim that Mox owed the fans an apology because he took care of his health and went to rehab was tone deaf at best, and absolutely offensive at its worst. As someone who has loved ones in recovery, I don't think that Mox had any obligation to apologize to wrestling fans for being absent for a couple months. Wrestling is secondary to a human being's health. Considering that he has easily witnessed the worst demons that the industry has to offer over the last three decades, why on Earth would Bully Ray say such a thing?

Mike Eps and I talked a LOT about this on the FMB on Saturday and I agree with you.  The problem with doing hot takes is that sometimes you can let the wrong thing slip out.  In my opinion, that is what Bully did here.  First, Mox finished his commitments before he got treatment.  He didn’t skip out on a big match or anything like that.  He didn’t no-show a PPV.  He didn’t leave the fans hanging.  He finished up his commitments and then went and addressed his addiction.  I don’t think he needs to come on TV and say a thing.  With that said, he still pretty much told people where he was and told them to fight through it.  I think Bully missed the mark on this one, but I don’t think there was any malice.  In fact, I think he has worked really hard to be a fair voice on his show.

It makes no sense to me. WWE does not want to work with Mustafa Ali, regardless of how talented the man is. So why will they not grant his release? Sounds very childish, very vengeful. can you make sense out of this?

That’s a good question.  If someone asks for their release when they aren’t being used, and the company has no plans for them, it’s a bad look for WWE to hold them to a contract.  I doubt anything will ever happen in court since Ali signed the contract, but it just doesn’t seem right for them to do what they do to talents that they don’t want to use and wish to leave.

Say what you will about Cody Rhodes, bit what an Amazing promo last night? Glass walls broken, but 100% accurate! Haters are gonna hate…..made me a Cody fan, when I had never been before….

It all depends on how you look at it.  If you like the super inside “that is fake, this is real stuff” it was a home run.  If you don’t like that stuff, it was a pop out.  I am in the latter camp.

By changing Walter's name to that of a Nazi commander, once again Vince McMahon has shown how tone-deaf he continues to be in this modern era of wrestling.  Let's not forget that just this past year, Vince gave Apollo Crews a spear and a fake Nigerian accent.  In your opinion, what is the most tone-deaf move Vince McMahon has made in recent memory?

To me the most tone deaf thing he did was change NXT to whatever it is now.  It showed that he just won’t accept that there fans of wrestling who like much different things.  Instead of giving fans different kinds of wrestling, and thus generating more revenue, he continues to shove his vision down our throats, even as he loses fans.  That is about as tone deaf as it gets to me.

If WWE can change Walter's name so easily by having him simply grab a mic and proclaim his new name after a match, what is stopping them from changing the worst name in wrestling today, Doudrop?  And why do you think Vince McMahon is so enamored by the name Doudrop?

You answered you question.  He likes the name Doudrop, and let’s be honest he owns the rights to it.  WALTER?  Not so much.
