WHY VINCE DOES WHAT HE DOES, AEW DOING THE RIGHT THING WITH HOOK, HBK IS STILL THERE AND MORE

It makes me so sad to see how far WWE has fallen. So much nonsense, I am so glad I now have AEW to watch. When WCW was around, I watched that too. But after watching WWWF/WWF/WWE for over 50 years, it just has so many things that make no sense, and actually disrupt the process of storytelling, that it has gotten hard to stay awake through the whole show. And it doesn’t really matter what I might miss, they will replay it over and over again anyway.  So my question is, is VKM so wrapped up in the 80’s that he doesn’t even care, or even realize how much favor he is losing with his audience? What do you think will happen at contract renewal time? Thank God for AEW as an option!

I honestly think that Vince would rather put what he thinks is great stuff on TV, and lose viewers, than listen to others and make the product better.  I think his “vision” is more important to him that bringing in new fans, and bringing back those that have stopped watching his product due to his creative.  Believe me, I am wondering as much as you are what will happen when the TV deals expire in less than three years.  I even wonder if the McMahons will own WWE when they come due.  It will be interesting to follow.

AEW has done an excellent job of protecting Hook in his matches so far, by making him look strong on offence and hiding his weaknesses and inexperience.  He has a lot of organic momentum building for him, but do you think he is ready to move up a level and start having more competitive matches on Dynamite with higher tier talent?  Or should they keep him right where he is for a while, on Rampage, until he gets some more seasoning?

I like what they are doing now with him.  I see no need to rush him.  He is getting over very well with the fans and I am happy for him.  I would take my time with him and wait for the right moment to take him to the next level.  I am going to assume that he will be ready to go in the ring when that happens given who his old man is.

Seth Rollins, is HE GOOD NOW?????

I love the reference.  Some of the worst booking ever was having Bob Backlund yelling that about Hulk Hogan.  Bad storytelling goes back decades.

Are tables legal in AEW? Multiple matches in the last few weeks have had table spots where the ref was looking right at it happening and they let the match continue.

When Rick Knox is the ref, everything is legal because he is the worst ref going today.  At other times?  Well the do seem to be legal at times.

Why did “they” fire everyone up to Gabe, Regal, and Road Dogg but not Shawn Michaels?

HBK has his own, long standing relationship with Vince McMahon.  Plus, keep in mind that he hasn’t been in NXT as long as the rest have and he isn’t seen as a HHH guy.  He is someone that Vince respects and he probably doesn’t look at him as someone who bought into Paul Levesque’s view of NXT, whether Shawn did or not.  HBK got involved because he was having a lot of fun.  I truly wonder if that will remain the case with the way NXT has changed direction.
