Whatever happened to JT Smith?

The former ECW star is retired and living in Virginia.  He still does occasional convention appearances.  JT is a great, classy person and deserves a lot more attention and love than he gets.

Whatever happened to Tony Mamaluke?

Retired and working in law enforcement in the NYC area.  Again, a great wrestler who deserves far more attention and love for his work.

If the Bellas can be cleared to return, could we see Paige in the Royal Rumble?

I mean, if Nikki Bella was cleared from a neck issue, it's always possible for Paige I suppose, although we don't know what the nature of one injury vs. another was.  So, we can't say 100% that could happen, but if there was some sort situation where she could enter the ring, throw a few punches and be safely eliminated, in my mind, it would be the Rumble.  Remember, WWE was the one who retired Paige.  It's not like she ever wanted that.

Any chance of Layla or Kristal Marshall in Rumble?

I haven't heard anything about those names at all, but until we have 30 women confirmed, I guess there is always a chance.

Who was the first ECW World champion? I've seen it listed as Jimmy Snuka as the first but I thought it was Shane Douglas.

It was Shane. The Eastern Championship Wrestling title was the ECW championship. When Shane Douglas, then the ECW champion, won the NWA title and tossed it down in a tournament in August 1994, he declared the ECW belt the ECW World championship and himself the "new" champion. The reality is that while the same belt was used (well, until 1997 anyway), they should be considered two different championships - at least in my opinion.

How many ECW DVDs were there?

If you mean the original company, Pioneer Home Video released 12 DVDS:

Extreme Evolution
Path of Destruction
Deep Impact
Barely Legal
Heat Wave 1998
Hardcore History
Best of Cactus Jack
Best of the Dudley Boyz
Anarchy Rulz 1999
Guilty as Charged 2001
WrestlePalooza 1997
Cyberslam 1999

Written but not produced or released due to Pioneer shutting down their Sports Division were Best of Taz and Best of Rob Van Dam, which I authored.  They were in production and editing at the time. There would have been at least two other compilations planned as well had Pioneer not shuttered that division.
