A GoFund Me campaign has been launched to assist Game Changer Wrestling regular Chris Dickinson, who will be out of action for six months after suffering a freak hip injury while performing for New Japan Pro Wrestling over the weekend. Dickinson just underwent surgery yesterday. For more on the campaign and to assist, click here. What truly sucks about the timing of the injury is that Dickinson will have to miss performing on the 1/23/22 Hammerstein Ballroom debut for the company.
Speaking of that event, there should be some announcements shortly on tickets going on sale. The promotion has locked in their plans for seating and is just waiting for the logistics to be locked down so everything can go on sale.
Alex Colon regained the GCW Ultraviolent Championship over the weekend by virtue of his win in the Nick Gage Invitational 6 tournament as the belt was on the line in every match the defending champion Masashi Takeda was involved in.
Takeda is seeking the return of his scissors that were taken from the GCW event in Detroit. If anyone has details that can lead to their return, email refereejoecoley@gmail.com.
GCW's new sister promotion LA Fights will debut on Sunday 11/28 in Los Angeles at Don Quixote, streaming live for free on the GCW YouTube channel featuring Adrian Quest vs. Lucas Riley, Dark Sheik vs. Sandra Moone and Jack Cartwright vs. Brandon Gatson. For tickets, visit LAFights.EventBright.com.
Announced for the 12/3 return to Houston, Texas at The Premier Arena is Effy vs. Sadika, the debut of ROH Champion Bandido, Drago Kid debuting and more.
GCW's return to Dallas, Texas on 12/4 features Thunder Rosa vs. Allie Katch, plus The Second Gear Crew, Effy, GCW Tag Team Champions The Briscoes, Blake Christian, Bandido and more appearing. Both the Dallas and Houston returns will stream live on FITE.TV.
