Game Changer Wrestling's Starboy Charlie suffered an injury during tonight's Jamie Iovine's Halloween Hootenanny event in Burbank, CA, which is currently airing live on FITE.TV.
Starboy Charlie and Nick Wayne were facing the West Coast Wrestling Crew, Royce Isaacs and Joe El Nelson when Charlie went for an assisted Sliced Bread #2 on Isaacs, being flipped over by Wayne. During the rotation, Charlie landed in an unnatural way on his right leg and went down, immediately grabbing at his ankle and lower leg. The referee immediately called for the ball.
The fear backstage is that he may have suffered a broken ankle or lower leg bone. Charlie has gone to be checked out at the hospital. If we hear anything additional, we will update.
GCW is next slated to run the weekend of 11/12.
