Extreme Rules is coming up, so, like, will any of the matches have any extreme stipulations?

As of right now, no.  Let's see what happens on TV this week.

Between Boogs, Doudrop, and Bron Breakker, we have recently seen some utterly ridiculous ring names for WWE talent, and my gut feeling is there's more to come in the near future.  I get why WWE wants to own the trademarks for the ring names, but why do you think Vince McMahon is enamored with these super cheesy names which do nothing to help get the talent over?  And which name do you think is the worst?

Because that's what he does.  He likes ridiculous, dopey names.  He always had.  Remember Sparky Plug, The Who, The Dumpster, etc.?  If WCW hadn't pulled ahead of the WWF, we probably never would have gotten the good product that we did over The Attitude Era.  For me, Doudrop is the worst, by far.

As you stated in a recent Q&A, a lot of fans tune in for the promos, entrances, storylines, etc.  Is it just me, or is AEW (along with great in ring talent) loaded with guys who are great on the mic?  MJF, Jericho, Cole, Punk, Danielson, and guys who are greatly improved like Black?  Britt Baker on the woman’s side.  WWE pales in comparison in that regard with their scripted and often awkward promos.

They absolutely are loaded with great promo people.  To be fair, so is WWE, they just don't get to deliver good verbiage.  They have to deliver the dreck that is written for them by WWE Creative.

Now that WWE have repurposed the Performance Center as the NXT Arena, how are they using it to train talent? When it originally opened it had several rings and loads of gym equipment; now it’s one ring and seating for fans.

The arena are is only part of the building.  They still have the training area.

Been a long time reader of the site, and although I didn't see if there was any personal opinion of yours in PWInsider regarding the absurd backlash that JR received by not naming Kenny Omega as the "best wrestler in the world", hasn't the arrival of Punk, Cole and Danielson kind of settled the dispute and proved JR right?

Honestly, I never heard any of the backlash or even know that Jim Ross said that.  Omega is really good and, in my opinion, when he doesn’t do his overacting, he can be great.  But come on, the best?  Even if someone feels that way it’s a matter of opinion and nothing more.  People that gave JR static for that need to get a pet or something.  They have too much time on their hands.
