Where did Davey Boy Smith Jr. go?

Nowhere.  He signed with WWE but is yet to be officially assigned to a brand.  So, he's in "hurry up and wait" mode, but he's 100% with the company.

A lot of these new NXT names are awful.  Is there anything talents can do?

Yes, they can embrace them and cash the check.  They may have some back and forth input on the names, but they are not in a position to refuse them.  When you sign with WWE, it's like signing up for the military - you are expected to jump as high as they want you to, not question why you are jumping.

I saw Onita is coming in, again, to the United States.  I feel like every time he comes in, there's a big sense of excitement and then the explosions suck.  Why should this be any different?

Listen, there is no guarantee it's going to be 1995 FMW Kawasaki Dream but I do know that H20 is bringing in the same person who handles Onita's pyrotechnics for the 10/31 event and it's outdoors on a baseball stadium, so they are putting all the correct elements into play.  So, there's a fighting chance this is done right.

Why were the Road Warriors inducted into the ECW Arena Hall of Fame when they never ever wrestled there?

I have zero idea as to the rationale.  It should be noted Hawk did make appearances for ECW in 1993 and 1994 in the venue.  It should ALSO be noted Hawk was in one of the first matches EVER in the building.  Animal never wrestled there to the best of my knowledge.  Obviously they are an important team historically, but not in that venue.  For them to go in before The Dudley Boyz, Taz, Paul Heyman, Raven and others is a certainly a head scratcher for me personally.

I dare you to name one positive coming out of this new NXT?

I'll name a few.  One, they gave a lot of new talents a chance, some of whom will step up and some who will falter, but they were given a chance.  They made it clear they want Bron Breaker to be a star and I'd be shocked if he isn't the NXT champion within six weeks.  Three, there were a lot of talents who have legitimate amateur wrestling backgrounds featured and usually, those talents end up having a great pedigree for pro wrestling.  Four, they focused on mic work and let talents like Stokely Hathaway show how good they be.  Five, the viewership went up, so they had fans interested.  Six, they fast-tracked some younger talents to TV way quicker than they had been in the NXT system.  Where we stand in a week, much less a month, we'll see, but you can see some positives for the debut episode.

I know you reported Kevin Dunn was at the TV taping, but who ran WWE NXT this week?  Bruce and Vince?

Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard were not present physically.  Shawn Michaels was the point person and it was the existing NXT creative working under him.
