WWE NOT WANTING TO LEAN INTO BROK BRONSON'S REAL NAME, COULD TNT PICK AEW OVER THE NHL, WHERE'S JAKE ROBERTS AND MORE

I have a question on why some talent in WWE is able to use a name that evokes their family history (Charlotte Flair & Dominik Mysterio), while others are renamed to something totally off from their familial legacy (Roman Reigns & Bray Wyatt), or given something that seems to be generated by poorly programmed AI, such as Michael McGillicutty and recently renamed Bron Breakker (sp?). Would it not make more sense for the WWE to try and use the history they have with the former generation of talent (at least the Anoa'i family) to build the new stars quicker? I am sure the WWE has more experience in this area than I do, but to have an announcer tell me Rex Steiner of NXT is the son of legendary tag team wrestler Rick Steiner & showing me a 5 second clip of Rick would do more to sell me on Rex being a legit star than trying to build "Bron Breakker" from nothing over the course of weeks. Am I simply missing something beyond the WWE wanting to own a name?

You aren't missing anything.  It all comes down to WWE wanting to create and own the trademarks on the characters the performers are portraying.  Rex Steiner was, in my opinion, a way better ring name for Bron Breaker, but when the day comes he exits WWE, the company wouldn't want him to go from being Rex Steiner to billing himself as Rechsteiner, where it all sounds the same phonetically.  WWE seems to ebb and flow on the names and that probably all stems from what Vince McMahon wants in that moment.  For now, it may be that Keith Lee is the last performer to utilize his real name during his WWE tenure.

With the ratings keeps on going up and keeping WarmerMedia happy, would they even consider keeping AEW Dynamite on TNT and move NHL to TBS?

I don't see a scenario where TNT decides to move the NHL at all.  My gut is WarnerMedia will believe the AEW audience will follow the promotion to TBS and I have no reason to believe they are wrong in that thinking.

Is Jake Roberts taking time off from AEW as not seen him with Lance Archer in weeks? And he’s not been posting lately for over a month on social media? He does have health issues is he doing ok?

I know that Jake has some appearances he's booked outside of AEW next month, so he's still around.  I've heard nothing that leads me to believe he's gone from the company but let's not forget he's been diagnosed with COPD.  As someone who has a family member battling that disease right now, I can assure you it can be really debilitating and you have good days and bad days, so if Roberts isn't on every week, my feeling is that he's working on his health and that's something AEW has been very supportive of him doing.  COPD is a nasty, harsh battle to contend with and my best goes out to Jake and anyone else dealing with it.

Do you have any idea if this new incarnation of NXT will continue to do Takeovers or any kinds of special events?

There's no clearcut answer on this yet, but I can see WWE continuing to do Takeovers personally.    Whether they are still designed to be what they were before the advent of 2.0, we'll have to wait and see.

Why would AEW give away Bryan Danielson's first match on free TV?

Well, they have this little thing called a TV deal that pays them for their programming and the goal with that little deal is to try and get the best audiences possible for their partner, WarnerMedia.  If you give Bryan Danielson vs. Kenny Omega away for free, the goal there is to bring the best audience possible to give back to the company that is paying you millions of dollars for programming.  Plus, much like the CM Punk debut led to a huge boon in PPV buys for the company, the idea here is to use Danielson as a window to bring new eyeballs to AEW.
