Great question. I can confirm she's in Phoenix for tonight's Smackdown taping, so maybe we'll see her then...or maybe we won't. I don't get it, either.
I loved your Bobby Eaton article. Do you know if perhaps this would spur WWE on to induct Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express in their Hall of Fame?
I don't know, but to me, it's sort of bullsh** that the greatest team of all time (in my opinion) wasn't already in every single Hall of Fame there is already. It shouldn't have taken Eaton's death for people to think of inducting them.
If CM Punk comes out, does he have "Cult of Personality" tonight?
If I am Living Colour (who, full disclosure, I LOVE) aren't bending over to make sure AEW and Punk have the music for his expected debut, they have missed a huge opportunity for themselves.
Where was the big Triple H phone call this week? Is it time to go all conspiracy theory?
There wasn't one. WWE didn't announce one and it didn't happen. It's possible they will hold one Sunday night after Takeover, but we haven't heard that, either. We can go all conspiracy theory if we want, but I think it was probably a case of HHH ran the NXT TV taping and flew right across the country to Las Vegas and then went right into the WWE tryouts. There just may not have been time, logisitically, for him to do it, this time. Of course, there was No Takeover press conference this time around either, so feel free to be a conspiracy theorist if you want!
Do you think WWE Network would ever stream the tryouts?
That's an interesting idea, but I think it might be a little too "inside" for what WWE wants to produce and broadcast for their audience.
Do you think perhaps the reason the Lex Luger documentary is delayed is Sting was interviewed for it and now he's, well, All Elite?
I hadn't heard that theory but after seeing this question, I asked someone at WWE who has seen the Luger: Icons doc and they confirmed there's quite a bit of Sting in it. I don't know that would be the reason to pull it, but if it was, it would be a damn stupid reason after they let Chris Jericho talk about AEW on the Steve Austin special that aired WRESTLEMANIA week!
