They say that a family that stays together is destined for greatness. Goldberg appeared a few days ago in the company of his son in a WWE segment with Bobby Lashley. It was at this show that it was confirmed that Goldberg will be facing off against the defending champion Bobby Lashley in the SummerSlam pay-per-view in late August.
Wrestling is a billion-dollar industry and WWE is one of the companies that has held this sport’s segment high. Betting on the outcomes of wrestling fights has been a tradition and this match will be something that will be followed closely. Understanding betting lines is something that fans must consider if they want to make some money out of this fight.
The All Mighty and MVP came first on the ring where MVP said that Goldberg could beat many men but that did not include Lashley. He pointed out that Goldberg had to decide whether he wanted to be remembered as a casualty or a champion.
This was before the challenger came to have his say. Goldberg told Lashley that if there was someone who had something to lose then it was him. He went on to say that he could see fear registered on Lashley’s face. Gage was on the front row of the arena as all this happened and Bill acknowledged him.
Goldberg left the ring but it was not all done. Lashley got in the face of Goldberg’s son at the ringside and had a short interaction with him before heading back to the ring. The Chicago crowd could be heard booing the world champion as he showed off his WWE Championship. However, MVP trash-talked Gage telling him that Lashley would end his father’s career. Goldberg came back to make a statement and defend his son and hit MVP with a Spear. “You mess with my son, I kill you” was his parting shot.

The WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg was in the company of his son Gage and fans and commentators alike could not hide their admiration and comment on how Gage had changed within five years. Cage Goldberg appeared on WWE TV several times in 2016-17 as his father returned to WWE and extended his feud with Brock Lesnar. Cage looks all grown up and his past and current photos show it all.

People who do not know the relationship between Gage and Bill may not need to ask as the resemblance is unmistakable. A close look at some pictures of Bill years ago and the current ones of Gage is evidenced enough of the resemblance. Fans dug deep into the archives and retrieved Bill’s photo and posted it alongside a current of his son.
Goldberg made his WWE debut in 2003. However, he was part of the promotion for less than a year. However, he still won the WWE Universal Championship within such a short time and held onto the title for long. Goldberg then announced his retirement from professional wrestling but would later come back through the Legends of Wrestling after an eleven years break.
He made his WWE comeback in 2016 and a feud with Brock Lesnar started. That same year. Goldberg made history after he defeated Lesnar in less than 100 seconds in the Survivor Series. In 2017, Goldberg faced Kevin Owens in WWE Fastlane and he won the WWE Universal Championship. However, he later faced Lesnar in WrestleMania 33 and ended up losing the title. Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018. Since then, he has only made a few appearances although he is part of the promotion on a part-time deal.
