Comcast posted strong Q2 results, due to NBC Universal recovery. Total revenue rose 28% to $28.5 billion. Overall revenue for NBCU rose 39% to $7.9 billion. Revenue Universal Studios, boosted by the release of F9, rose 8% to $2.2 billion. Peacock posted a loss of $363 million.
Variety noted that signups at Peacock reached 54 million, and it will begin its international rollout this year as a free addition on Sky's satellite TV platform in Europe.
