WHY WWE DIDN'T STOP MONEY IN THE BANK WHEN PEACOCK WENT AWRY

By Mike Johnson on 2021-07-18 22:47:00

We've had some readers ask why WWE didn't pause Money in the Bank while there were streaming issues.

The short answer is that WWE wasn't initially aware there were any issues.  The problems were only with Peacock in the United States and the issues were not emanating from Fort Worth, Texas, where WWE is broadcasting the show.

The WWE Network, internationally, had zero issues, therefore the company kept going because they had their international audience watching.

The issue was coming from wherever Peacock was picking up the stream and then sending it out to their subscribers.  It was not anything to do with WWE itself.

It's also interesting to note that since Peacock's feed has been fixed, it's been the WWE Network's stream, not Peacock's, as the stream no longer features any of the Peacock graphics.
