ROMAN’S TITLE REIGN, THE BEST WRESTLER IN THE US, SMACKDOWN BEATS RAW AND MORE

Do you see Roman Reigns holding the Universal Title until Wrestlemania 38?

Right now, provided he doesn’t get hurt or have to leave for an outside project, it makes the most sense.  There is no obvious challenger to take the belt from him so it will take time to build that up and if he retains through SummerSlam (which I would have him do), then it makes sense to keep the belt on him through Mania, at least.

During the beginning of Roman’s heel turn, he gave an interview where he compared his character development to cooking a multi-course steak dinner and that “if you want fast food, go watch Raw.”  So with that comparison made, about 9 months later, is it time to eat steak?

Overall, the booking of Reigns has been, by far, the best thing on the main roster.  It’s not even close.  And Smackdown is so much better than Raw, week in and week out.  I wish Raw would move to FOX as well.

Jim Ross’s “controversial” statement that Randy Orton was the best wrestler today got a lot of people talking and “standing with Kenny Omega.”  But this question isn’t about him, it’s about someone else who could really be in the running for the best today.  Because Jim Cornette and Brian Last were talking about this and brought maybe Roman Reigns.  So here’s my question, in 2021 who’s the better wrestler, Randy Orton or Roman Reigns?  From bell to bell work, promos, and how they’re carrying themselves?

Randy’s work has been some of the best of his career over the last year but Roman is the best in my opinion.  He is THE guy right now, better than anyone else in any other US company.

I recently started watching New Japan on Roku, and have been amazed by the high quality matches they have and the fantastic talent there. But most of all, I’m intrigued by Zack Sabre Jr. I have been watching wrestling in one form or another for 45+ years and have never seen anyone like him. A truly arrogant heel that 100% backs up what he says. Why hasn’t WWE thrown money at this man to bring him to NXT?

They did talk to him when they were doing the 2017 UK tournament.  He didn't like the offer that they put on the table so he bet on himself with New Japan and it was a smart move.  With that said, looking at the main roster right now, I don't think he would fit in with Vince McMahon's vision of wrestling anyway.

I enjoyed seeing the packed house at Daily’s Place for Double Or Nothing. With the live crowd back, I’m perplexed as to why AEW chooses to have the hard cam facing only the side of the venue where you partially see side of the venue’s wall. Why hasn’t AEW positioned the hard cam on the stage facing the wider crowd?

Here is how I see it.  If we have three times as many people at the PPV and we pan the whole crowd for TV, when we are back to a third of that for TV we can’t do that so it sends a message to the viewers that there are less people watching.
