WWE 205 LIVE REPORT: STERLING VERSUS NESE, HALE VERSUS DAIVARI, AND REMEMBER TO WATCH EVER RISE LIVE

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Nigel McGuinness.

Match Number One:  Asher Hale versus Ariya Daivari

They lock up and Daivari backs Hale into the corner and Daivari pushes Hale in the corner and Hale pushes back.  They lock up and Hale with a side head lock.  Hale holds on when Daivari sends Hale off the ropes.  Hale with a side head lock take down.  Hale pushes Daivari off the turnbuckles and Hale with a side head lock take down.  Hale holds on to the side head lock.  Daivari with a knee to the midsection followed by a thrust kick and a drop kick to the temple.  Daivari kicks Hale but Hale blocks a second kick.  Hale with a back heel trip.  Hale with forearms and punches in the corner.  Hale with a leg lariat and he gets a near fall.  Daivari goes to the floor.

Hale follows and hits a knee off the apron.  Hale sends Daivari back into the ring and Daivari begs for mercy but he sends Hale to the apron.  Hale with a shoulder and he flips back into the ring and Daivari with a back elbow.  Hale is sent to the apron and Daivari punches him in the ropes.  Hale falls back into the ring.  Daivari with a sleeper.  Hale with a belly-to-back suplex but Daivari holds on to the sleeper.  Hale backs Daviari into the turnbuckles to get out of the hold and he hits a jaw breaker to finally get free.  Hale with forearms.  Daivari returns to the sleeper but Hale escapes with a snap mare and hits a power slam for a near fall.  Hale and Daivari exchange forearms.

Hale with a short arm clothesline and an exploder followed by a second one.  Hale with a forearm into the corner.  Hale with a Northern Lights suplex and he rolls through into a cross arm breaker but Daivari with a rollup for a near fall.  Hale with an enzuigiri and a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Hale goes up top and Daivari hits the ropes to crotch Hale.  Daivari with a chop and hits Iconoclasm.  Daivari with a frog splash for a near fall.  Daivari goes for the hammer lock clothesline but Hale with an O'Connor Roll and Backlund Bridge for the three count.

Winner:  Asher Hale

We go to commercial.

We are back with The Singhs and Ever Rise.  They talk about the new guys on the brand.  They say the new guys are holding their own.  Martel asks the Singhs if they watch the show and they ask if they mean 205 Live and Matt and Chase talk about Ever Rise Live, Saturdays at 10:30.  

We take a look back at the Cruiserweight Title Match between KUSHIDA and Santos Escobar.

Match Number Two:  Ari Sterling versus Tony Nese

They lock up and Nese with a wrist lock take down.  Sterling with a reversal and he backs Sterling into the corner.  Sterling with an Irish whip and Nese flips out of the corner.  Sterling lands on his feet on a back body drop.  Sterling with a head scissors take down.  Sterling with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Nese with a punch and kicks.  Nese with a boot to the head.  Sterling with forearms and chops.  Nese sends Sterling to the apron but Sterling with a kick to the knee and a slingshot senton and a twisting shooting star senton for a near fall.  Nese goes to the floor and Sterling teases a pescado and Nese grabs the leg.  Sterling goes to the floor and Sterling with a chop.  Sterling with a chop against the plexiglass.

Nese puts the ring skirt over Sterling's head and Nese with a kick.  Nese sends Sterling into the ringside barrier.  Nese gets a near fall and then he punches Sterling.  Nese with a kick to the ribs.  Nese with a step over toe hold but Sterling gets to the ropes.  Sterling lands on his feet when Nese tries to pull Sterling from the ropes.  Sterling with an enzuigiri.  Sterling with forearms and Sterling with an elbow and a Northern Lariat.  Nese with a forearm into the corner and Sterling with a sunset flip but Nese rolls through and kicks Sterling because you don't give Nese a sunset flip either.  Nese gets a near fall.  Nese with a body scissors.  Nese with a hard Irish whip.

Nese puts Sterling on the turnbuckles but Sterling escapes.  Nese avoids a power bomb and goes to the turnbuckles.  Sterling flips into the corner and hits a Frankensteiner.  Sterling kicks Nese.  Sterling with an enzuigiri and a clothesline.  Nese goes to the apron and Sterling with a spinning heel kick to knock Nese off the apron.  Sterling with a Moonsauce and then Sterling sends Nese back into the ring.  Nese rolls through into a palm strike to stop Sterling.  Nese goes to the turnbuckles for a 450 splash but misses when Sterling moves.  Sterling with a rollup for a near fall.  Sterling with punches and chops.  Nese with a back heel kick.  Sterling sends Nese to the mat and Sterling with a flip leg drop to the back of the neck for a near fall.  

Nese with a rollup for a near fall.  Nese with a running knee lift followed by the Cyclone Driver for a near fall.  Nese with forearms and punches to Sterling.  Sterling with a jumping knee and a power bomb for a near fall.  Sterling goes up top but Nese stops Sterling.  Nese is sent to the mat and Nese goes for a rolling palm strike but Sterling with a punch.  Sterling leaps over Nese and Nese with a German suplex into the turnbuckles followed by Running Nese for the three count.

Winner:  Tony Nese
