WWE NXT UK REPORT: NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR KAY LEE RAY, BATE AND A-KID TALK THE HERITAGE CUP TITLE, AN OFFICIAL DOES NOT REWARD A PERSON FOR ATTACKING SOMEONE ELSE, AND MORE

We are in London, England and your announcers are Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness.

We are told that Xia Brookside is not medically cleared to wrestle in the Number One Contender Gauntlet Match.

Match Number One: Nathan Frazer versus Noam Dar in a Heritage Cup Rules Match

Round One

Dar with a kick to the leg. They lock up and Dar with a waist lock take down but Frazer with an escape and hammer lock. Dar gets back to his feet and he applies a wrist lock. Dar with a take down and he continues to work on the arm. Frazer with a reversal and a wrist lock. Dar with a single leg take down and then he returns to the wrist.

Frazer with a reversal and Dar goes for the leg but Frazer with an arm drag into an arm bar. Frazer backs Dar into the corner and Dar pushes Frazer on the break. They go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. Frazer with a side head lock take down but Dar with a side head scissors. Frazer with another side head lock take down and Dar with another head scissors. They lock up and Dar with an uppercut after the bell sounds to end the round.

Round Two

Dar with an STO and he works on the leg. Frazer with a body scissors and a rollup for a near fall. Dar with an uppercut and Frazer with a forearm. Dar with a waist lock and Frazer trips over Dar. Dar spins Frazer around but Frazer blocks the back slide. Frazer with a small package for the three count

Round Three

Dar misses a kick and Frazer with a drop kick. Frazer with a shooting star press for a near fall. Sha Samuels makes his way to the ring so everything stops and Samuels gets rid of Dar’s corner man from rounds one and two. Frazer with a chop to Dar in the corner. Frazer with another chop. Dar with an Irish whip and Frazer floats over. Dar kicks Frazer in the leg and gets a near fall. Dar stomps on the legs and then he does the same to the arms.

Dar with a kick to the shoulder. Dar with a kick to the chest. Dar with more kicks to the chest and Frazer goes down. Frazer blocks a kick and Frazer misses an enzuigiri. Frazer with a springboard moonsault into a reverse DDT. Frazer goes up top and Samuels distracts him and Dar goes to the turnbuckles. Frazer with a head butt and the round ends as Frazer is about to come off the turnbuckles.

Round Four

Frazer with a running drop kick that sends Dar into the turnbuckles. Frazer goes up top and misses a double stomp and Dar with a kick to the midsection. Dar with an elbow and Dar blocks a kick. Dar with a back elbow for a near fall. Dar sets for the Nova Roller as Frazer tries to get to his feet. Frazer with a rollup for a near fall. Frazer with a spinning heel kick. Dar with a heel hook and Frazer taps out.

Round Five

Frazer with a forearm and Dar fires back. They continue the exchange and Frazer with chops. Dar with a jab and he goes for a knee bar but Frazer counters with a rollup for a near fall. Dar with a rollup for a near fall. Frazer with a twisting brainbuster for a near fall. Dar kicks Frazer in the knee. Dar with a kick to the chest. Dar Irish whips Frazer and Frazer slides to the apron. Frazer with a forearm to Dar.

While the referee deals with Dar in the ring, Samuels grabs Frazer by the leg to stop a springboard move. Frazer kicks Samuels away and then Frazer misses a springboard drop kick. Dar with the Nova Roller for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

We take a look at what happened previously between Rampage Brown and Gallus. Wolfgang accepted Brown’s challenge since Joe Coffey was not there.

We take a look at the NXT UK Tag Team Champions, Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley. They say they are not just the tag team champions, but they are the best looking team. People asked if they were pretty or if they were deadly, they couldn’t be both. They said they knew they would be on top from day one.

We go to commercial.

We are back with Trent Seven and Jack Starz.

Sam Gradwell shows up and he has some words for Trent Seven getting involved in everything. Gradwell says Trent might be one of the founding fathers, but so is he. Trent is over the hill and overrated. He says he can see through what Trent is trying to do.

Trent punches Gradwell and they have to be separated.

Match Number Two: Levi Muir versus Mark Andrews (with Dani Luna and Flash Morgan Webster)

They lock up and Andrews with a wrist lock. Muir with a reversal but Andrews with an escape and side head lock. Levi pushes Andrews away. Andrews lands on his feet on a snap mare and blocks an arm drag. Andrews with a leg sweep and a standing moonsault for a near fall. Andrews with kicks to the leg. Muir with a power slam for a near fall. Andrews with a chop and Muir with a punch.

Andrews with a chop and forearm. Muir with a European uppercut. Muir with more European uppercuts. Muir with a torture rack but Andrews gets to his feet. Andrews with a chop and forearms but Muir stays on his feet. Muir with a head butt to the midsection followed by a slingshot suplex for a near fall. Muir with a chop. Andrews goes for a sunset flip but Muir stays on his feet. Andrews with forearms to Muir. Andrews slides under a forearm and Andrews with an enzuigiri. Andrews with a Tiger Feint Kick to the back. Andrews goes to the apron and misses a springboard move.

Muir gets Andrews up and goes for a slingshot suplex but Andrews counters with Stundog Millionaire. Andrews with a suicide dive. Andrews goes up top and hits a shooting star press to the back for the three count.

Winner: Mark Andrews

We go to Sid Scala from earlier today and he was asked about a replacement for Xia Brookside in the Number One Contender Match tonight. Sid says that they are working.

Amale shows up and says that since Xia is injured, she wants to be put in the gauntlet match because she deserves it.

Scala says that they are not going to put her in the match because of what Amale did to Brookside.

Amale says if she is not put in the match, she will take the opportunity.

Sid says that Amale will be in a match, but not the gauntlet match. Amale’s next match will be when Xia Brookside is medically cleared.

Amale yells at Sid in French and leaves.

Sid says the replacement will be announced.

We take a look back at last week’s Loser Leaves NXT UK match between Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams.

We see Amir Jordan as he goes into the back after the match. Jordan collapses in the back and he has to be helped into the locker room to be checked out by the medical staff.

We go to commercial.

We are back and A-Kid will face Tyler Bate for the Heritage Cup next week.

We go to Sid Scala with A-Kid and Tyler Bate from earlier today.

A-Kid is asked how his life has changed since becoming Heritage Cup Champion. He says it is much better. The Heritage Cup is how he has gotten through the tough times. It lets him know that he can do whatever he wants with his life.
Tyler is asked what would it mean to become Heritage Cup Champion. He says the title is about hold for hold wrestling. It is about the pure technique of wrestling. That is why he fell in love with this. Tyler says it was made for him.

A-Kid says that he is the champion but Tyler says that is for now.

A-Kid reminds Tyler that he beat Tyler last time.

Tyler says that A-Kid seems so sure and confident but that is where he will fail. He does not have the experience or the big matches under his belt. That is the difference between you and me.

A-Kid asks how does Tyler want him to win this match. Tyler says that A-Kid may be the master of the Heritage Cup Rules but he has nothing on him. He will not make the same mistake again.

A-Kid asks Tyler if he really believes that. A-Kid says he has always been chasing Tyler. When you won the UK Championship, I was at home watching and I looked up to you and I wanted to be like you. Now I am the champion and you are the one chasing me.

Tyler says A-Kid fails to see the bigger picture. You think I am trying to catch you, but I am in my own lane and you cannot see it. You fail to see the big picture. That is where you fail.

A-Kid says he is the champion.

Sid reminds us of the match next week.

A-Kid and Tyler shake hands.

Match Number Three: NXT UK Women’s Championship Number One Contender Gauntlet Match

Segment One: Isla Dawn versus Emilia McKenzie

They lock up and Dawn with a clean break. They lock up again and McKenzie with a waist lock and take down. McKenzie with a front face lock and she gets a near fall. McKenzie with a chin lock and rollup for a near fall. McKenzie maintains the front face lock until Dawn punches her way out. McKenzie with kicks and a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. McKenzie with a waist lock and Dawn runs McKenzie into the turnbuckles. Dawn with kicks to McKenzie. Dawn with a running kick to the chest. Dawn with a knee drop for a near fall.

Dawn with a suplex for a near fall. Dawn with a forearm and McKenzie with forearms of her own. Dawn blocks a kick but McKenzie with an enzuigiri. McKenzie with a drop kick and Dawn goes into the corner. McKenzie with a forearm. Dawn with an Irish whip and she misses a splash into the corner. McKenzie goes up top and hits a Buckshot spear for a near fall. McKenzie with a waist lock but Dawn with elbows and a snap mare and super kick followed by a half and half suplex for the three count.

Winner: Isla Dawn

Segment Two: Isla Dawn versus Dani Luna

Luna with a bicycle kick and a gutwrench suplex followed by a second gutwrench suplex. Luna with another suplex for a near fall. Luna blocks a kick and she gets Dawn up. Dawn escapes and Dawn with kicks but Luna with a clothesline for a near fall. Luna with a fallaway slam and then she goes for a shoulder into the corner and connects.

Luna with an exploder for a near fall. Dawn with elbows and Luna with an Irish whip. Luna goes for a shoulder in the corner but Dawn moves and Luna hits the turnbuckles. Dawn with a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Isla Dawn

Segment Three: Isla Dawn versus Meiko Satomura

Dawn drop kicks Satomura as she enters the ring and they go to the floor. Dawn sends Satomura into the ringside barrier before they return to the ring. Dawn gets a near fall. Dawn with forearms. Satomura with forearms and she sends Dawn into the turnbuckles. Satomura with a round kick and more kicks in the corner.

Dawn with forearms and Satomura fires back. Satomura with a kick and a Pele Kick for a near fall. Satomura with a back heel kick and she misses a handspring round kick. Dawn with kicks to Satomura. Satomura blocks an Irish whip and Dawn with a kick and a Saito suplex. Dawn with another Saito suplex. Dawn with a running double knee drop for a near fall. Dawn with a running knee to the chest but she misses a knee drop.

Satomura with a DDT and a handspring knee drop. Satomura gets Dawn up but Dawn counters with a rollup. Satomura with a cross arm breaker and a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Meiko Satomura

Segment Four: Jinny (with Joseph Conners) versus Meiko Satomura

They circle each other and then they lock up. Jinny backs Satomura into the ropes and Jinny with a clean break. They lock up and Jinny with an arm bar take down. Jinny gets a near fall. Satomura with a hammer lock and Jinny with an arm drag and a near fall. Jinny with a front face lock. Satomura backs Jinny into the corner but Jinny holds on to the front face lock. Jinny gets a near fall.

Jinny with a rollup for a near fall. Jinny with a wrist lock into an arm bar. Satomura with kicks to get out of the hold and Satomura with a near fall. Satomura with a side head lock. Satomura with a knee and a side head lock take down. Jinny with a head scissors. Satomura escapes and she works on Jinny’s knees. Jinny with forearms and Satomura with forearms of her own. Satomura continues to work on the knees. Jinny with a seated suplex for a near fall. Jinny with a forearm and Satomura fires back.
They continue the exchange until Satomura turns it into a kicking clinic. Satomura with a spinning heel kick and Satomura with an STF. Jinny gets to the ropes to force a break. Jinny sends Satomura throat first into the ropes. Jinny sends Satomura face first into the mat and Jinny gets a near fall. Jinny with punches. Jinny goes for a suplex but Satomura blocks it. Satomura gets Jinny up but Conners gets on the apron and because this is professional wrestling, Satomura releases the hold and goes over to confront Conners.

Satomura kicks Conners to send him off the apron. Jinny has a clothesline blocked and Satomura gets Jinny up and hits a Death Valley Driver. Satomura with a round kick and then she hits Scorpio Rising for the three count.

Winner: Meiko Satomura

After the match, NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray makes her way to the ring.

They stand face to face in the ring.

Ray appears to bow to Sakomura and Sakomura bows back. Ray with a super kick as we go to credits.
