New Japan Pro Wrestling
Two unnamed members of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s roster have tested positive for COVID-19.
The wrestlers are currently experiencing mild symptoms. All other wrestlers and staff who have been in contract with the wrestlers are being monitored and tested.
It should be noted that Kazuchika Okada is among the wrestlers who was removed from yesterday’s Wrestling Dontaku show and is he scheduled to challenge Will Ospreay for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the second night of Wrestle Grand Slam on May 29 in the Tokyo Dome.

New Japan has uploaded the fifty-fourth edition of Hiroshi Tanahashi’s Ace’s HIGH autobiographical interview series. Topics discussed include his feud with Hiroyoshi Tenzan in 2006, teaming with Koji Kanemoto and Shinsuke Nakamura’s rumoured 10,000 calories per day diet.

Keisuke Okuda made his fifth successful defense of the Open the Brave Gate Championship against U-T.
Kaito Ishida and KAZMA SAKAMOTO defeated Masaaki Mochizuki and Takashi Yoshida to win the Open The Twin Gate Championships.
Dragon Dia, Jason Lee and La Estrella defeated Genki Horiguchi, Kzy, Susumu Yokosuka to win the Open the Triangle Gate Championships.
Shun Skywalker made his fourth defense of the Open the Dream Gate Championship against HipHop Kikuta via referee stoppage after four minutes and 33 seconds. Kikuta was injured almost immediately after the match started.
SB KENTo lost his hair as per the stipulation of the main event.
