JORDAN CLEARWATER VS. JACK BANNING: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD TV REPORT

Todd Keneley and Janes Kincaid are our hosts as CWFH returns to the Oceanview Pavilion from hiatus. It’s time to fight on!

Jordan Cruz vs. EJ Sparks

Cruz and Sparks trade some kicks and jabs to open the bout. Cruz takes down Sparks and gets him in a pinning predicament. Kick out. Cruz and Sparks grapple and counter each, Cruz attempts an STF bit Sparks frees himself and starts to speed up with some take downs. We’re at a stalemate early as Cruz retreats to the ropes.

Cruz with a hammerlock but Sparks escapes and gets Cruz into an arm bar as they continue to try and one up each other. Cruz with a cradle roll up for 2. Cruz continues to grapple Sparks into his back but cannot keep him down. Cruz step over toe hold but Sparks reaches the ropes. Snap suplex but another kick out by Sparks. Cruz dominates but has nothing to show for it.

Piledriver style powerbonb but another kick out by Sparks. Cruz misses with a top rope maneuver. Sparks with a knee to the skull and a cutter for 2. Cruz misses a lariat and is hit with the Roundhouse Rhythm kick to the temple and is pinned.

Sparks speaks with Emily May at ringside and tips his cap and says Cruz earned his respect.

Mylo Matters vs Viva Van

Lock up and Van takes down Matters with a headlock take over. Matters with a headscissors to escape and a crossbody attack. Matters runs the ropes but right into a big boot from Van, reverse neck breaker and goes for a pin but a kick out at 2. 

Matters throws some elbows and again runs off the ropes but it met with a kick to the abdomen and gets repeatedly stomped. Van applies a modified Camel Clutch, Matters escapes but Van regains control with a rear chin lock. Mylo with a dropping jawbreaker and escapes. Swinging neckbreaker and a cover but Van kicks out. Matters to the top rope but Van picks her up. She traps Matters arms and drops her backward onto her shoulders, bridge for the pin fall.

After the match Guy comes out hands an envelope to Van. 

The United World Tag Team Champions “The Bodega” (Danny Limelight Rivera, Papo Esco & Slice Boogie with Jack Farmer in the interview center and Jack suggests that the group is unable to win matches without cheating. Limelight says everyone is mad because they talk trash and their street smarts get them victories.

Papo Esco vs Honest John

Esco immediately throws John out of the ring where he is confronted by Boogie & Limelight. John thinks better of starting stuff with them and goes back into the ring and is hit with a big chokeslam.  Heavy blows to the head and stomach of Honest John. Fat Boy throws John into the turnbuckle for a splash. John bounces up and hits an enziguri to no effect. He runs up to the top rope and leaps but is caught and Papo nails John with his swinging uranage finisher “Greetings from the Bodega”. 1,2,3

We’re in acting matchmaker Jamie Iovine’s office and he is on the phone while Guy is being hyper behind him using the hand sanitizer to freshen up. Dan Joseph enters and wants to clear the air about his temper tantrum the last time he wrestled. Dan wants to get back into the title picture. Guy gets in Dan’s face and incoherently rambles so Dan grabs his head and bashes him into Jamie’s desk. Jordan Clearwater enters and Joseph leaves. Clearwater wants to get his hands on Jack Banning who attacked him before the hiatus. Iovine says he will make the match.

“The Goldenboy” Jordan Clearwater vs Jack Banning 

Banning sneaks up from behind as Clearwater makes his entrance and he bashes Jordan into the ring post and a suplex on the edge of the ring. Banning slams him again into the ring post. Punches, stomps  and he steps on Ckearwater’s neck. Banning is full control laying out a severe beating. Banning slams Clearwater into the ring bell and throws him into the steel steps. 

Banning rolls him into the ring and convinces the referee to start that match. The bell rings and he hits Clearwater with a running knee. Banning taunts Clearwater telling him to lay down and take the loss. Clearwater is able to throw Banning out of the ring and returns the best down on the outside throwing Banning into the steps and ring post. Back in the ring. Heavy clotheslines and stomps to Banning and he’s in trouble. 

Clearwater takes off his belt and the referee tries to take it away and is shoved down. Ref calls for the DQ. Clearwater finds duct tape under the ring and toes up Banning in the turnbuckles. He pummels Banning and chokes him with his belt. Banning can’t defend himself. More referees come out from the back and they are finally able to get Clearwater to leave. In the corner Banning smiles and laughs following his beating as the show fades to black.
