New Japan Pro Wrestling held the first night of Castle Attack today in Osaka-j? Hall.

Despite being with the company for nearly five years, Tanga Loa’s win against YOSHI-HASHI today was his first singles match victory ever and only his third singles match.
He will be hoping for a similar outcome on the second night of Castle Attack tomorrow when he teams with his brother Tama Tonga to defend the IWGP Tag Team Championships for the second time this reign against Hirooki Goto and YOSHI-HASHI.
Jay White avenged his G1 Climax 30 loss to Tomohiro Ishii from last year in the fifth match. Backstage, White said he intends to win the upcoming New Japan Cup.
Kazuchika Okada defeated EVIL in the main event and promised to return to the IWGP Heavyweight Championship picture. Okada has shown no interest in pursuing the IWGP Heavyweight Championship since the introduction of the double title concept after Tetsuya Naito defeated Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 14 last year.
Speaking of, Naito is set to challenge Kota Ibushi for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship tomorrow. The full card is:

Hiroshi Tanahashi will attempt his first defense of the NEVER Openweight Championship against Great-O-Khan.
Tanahashi feuded with Great-O-Khan throughout the end of 2020 and the foes had a singles match on the first night of Wrestle Kingdom 15 on January 4, where Tanahashi was victorious. Tanahashi defeated Shingo Takagi to win the NEVER Openweight Championship at The New Beginning in Nagoya on January 30 but was attacked by Great-O-Khan during his celebration, setting the stage for this match.
Ibushi will attempt his third defense of the IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Naito.
Ibushi made his second defense of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship and IWGP Intercontinental Championship against SANADA on the second night of The New Beginning in Hiroshima on February 11 and was challenged by Naito afterwards. Naito specifically challenged for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship because he does not want Ibushi to unify both titles.
