AEW President Tony Khan clarified after our interview yesterday that Kenny Omega was the person with the original idea a year ago to have an exploding barbed wire match. Khan said the bout would be live on the Revolution PPV, not something that will be pre-taped and inserted into the show.
There will be additional details on the AEW Dark: Elevated series that will begin streaming on Mondays at 7 PM EST on AEW's YouTube channel tonight on Dynamite. Paul Wight will be one of the commentators on the series.
The new series is in addition to the forthcoming second series that will debut on TNT later this year.
The Revolution Countdown Special will air next Wednesday at 10 PM EST after Dynamite.
