LEVI SHAPIRO VS. ANTHONY IDOL & MORE: CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING FROM HOLLYWOOD TV REPORT

Richie Slade defends the Hollywood Heritage title against Robin Shaw. Shapiro defend his United Television Title against Anthony Idol

Todd Keneley, James Kincaid and Blake Troop are your hosts for this episode of CWFH. It’s time to fight on.

The new Hollywood Heritage Champion Richie Slade comes out with Flex McCallion to talk with Jon Roberts. Slade says he is the most handsome wrestler to even hold the HHC and better than past champions Adam Pearce, TJP & Peter Avalon. McCallion obnoxiously yells “Beef Candy”.

Richie Slade defends against Sweet Robin Shaw (with Gentleman Jervis & Darwin Finch)

Collar and elbow tie up and we see Shaw’s considerable size advantage right away as Slade is easily pushed into the corner. Another lock up and Shaw chops Slade before throwing him into the ropes. Shaw tries to throw a kick but Slade bails from the ring to the floor. Another tie up, Slade throws some punches to the side of Shaw but is flung into the ropes and hit with a shoulder block and bounced to the outside again. Back in and Slade tries more strikes and starts having success until he jumps to the second rope for a splash and is caught. Shaw with a bear hug and squeezes. Slade reaches out and McCallion grabs his arms pulling them to the ropes for a break. Jervis runs to the rescue and chases off Flex.

Back in the ring a belly-to-belly from Shaw gets a 2 count. Shaw with a punch, Irish whip and avalanche clothesline combo and Slade slumps into the corner. Shaw picks him up for a body slam but misses with a follow up leg drop. Slade takes advantage and gives him a drop kick to the face and covers for a 2 count. Slade uses the point of his elbow to smash the eyes and nose of Shaw. He goes over and takes a swing at Cottonbelly & Finch irritating them. The referee intervenes and it allows Beef Candy to throw punches at Shaw out of his view. 2 count on Shaw. Knee drops and another 2 count. Shaw is running on fumes. Slade with a high cross body for another near fall. Shaw into the corner and avoids a splash and comes back with a lariat and Saito suplex. Flex distracts Shaw by grabbing his leg. He blames it on Finch and Jervis which flummoxes Shaw. Slade trips up Shaw and gets the pin.

After the match Finch explains what happened and gives Shaw a hug. Gentleman Jervis comes in for a hug of his own but Shaw’s demeanor changes into rage and he suplexes Jervis! He goozles Finch and throws him to the floor. This appears to be the end of Friendship Farm.



Jon Roberts is back and this time he’s with the United World Tag Team Champions The Bodega (Papo Esco & Danny Limelight Rivera) are also joined by Slice Boogie. Boogie explains that joining up with The Bodega reminds him of being in the hood back in NY. Limelight says Boogie’s opponent Snypes is about find out what The Bodega is all about. Esco reminds everyone The Bodega is open for business.


Slice Boogie vs Snypes

Lock up and push off. Boogie poses and uses Snypes catchphrase “What’s my name” while posing. Snypes with a headlock and is pushed off, they collide at the chest but nobody goes down. Boogie is arm dragged and thrown into the corner where Snypes lands some strikes. He whips Boogie to the opposite corner, Boogie leaps and Snypes hits the turnbuckle. Boogie grabs him by the head and slams him to the mat. Cover for 2 and a reverse chin lock applied. Snypes gets up, delivers some strikes but is knocked down again after a back elbow, suplex and leg drop from Slice. Lackadaisical cover for 1. Boogie goes for a pile driver but Snypes escapes with a back drop. Snypes gets him with some hard kicks and Boogie goes down. Boogie quickly pops up and delivers a hard spine buster. Near fall! Boogie goes for the Statue of Misery but Snypes escapes and lands a kick and running knee strike. Spinning toe hold, Boogie is in pain but manages to grab the ropes for a break. Snypes let’s go. Boogie adjusts his shin guard and hits Snypes with an axe kick for the victory.

Dan Joseph and Jordan Cruz vs 4 Minutes of Heat (Ricky Gibson & Eddie Pearl)

The bell rings and Joseph and Gibson trade wrist locks and reversals until Joseph tags in Cruz. Cruz applies and arm bar and wrenches on Gibson’s shoulder. Quick tag back to Joseph who goes behind Gibson and tags him down into a bridge for a 1 count. Joseph grabs another wrist lock and tags Cruz back in. He throws Gibson into the corner and he goes down. Front face lock and a tag back to Joseph. He grabs and stretches a leg and another tag to Cruz. Cruz with an Irish whip which is reversed. Pearl kicks Cruz in the back as he hits the ropes. Cruz turns around and punches Pearl, turns around again and gets drop kicked in the face. Gibson tags in Pearl who rains down forearms and chokes Cruz against the ropes. Pearl backs off which allows Cruz to hit him in the stomach and a forearm to the face. Pearl recovers and throws Cruz hard into the turnbuckle. Cover for 1, Pearl picks up Cruz throws him into 4MoH corner. Pearl stomps Cruz and gives him a back breaker. Tag to Gibson and they give Cruz a double hip toss. Joseph gets frustrated which distracts the ref and it allows Pearl and Gibson to attack Cruz. Pearl tags in Gibson who gives Cruz a second rope punch to the ribs. Gibson goes to the corner and decks Joseph, he runs into the ring to get Gibson back but is stopped by the referee. 4 Minutes take advantage and work over Cruz. Gibson suplexes Cruz for a 2 count. Cruz is able to grab a headlock and run up the ropes for a bulldog. Pearl runs in and nails Joseph off the apron and they are able to hit “Power Ballad” on Cruz for the victory.

Main Event for the United Television Title: Anthony Idol vs. Levi Shapiro (c) with Howdy Price
 

The bell rings and Idol picks up the smaller Shapiro and carries him into the corner and backs off. Shapiro rolls out and strategizes with Howdy. Shapiro offers a test of strength and when Idol reaches up he’s slapped across the face and is shoved. Idol responds with a forearm to Shapiro’s head knocking him down. He throws Shapiro into the corner, whips him into the other side and chops him. Idol grabs Shapiro again and throws him into a different corner and back drops him. Shapiro is able to recover and get Idol into a corner where he gets in some strikes and takes him down. Shapiro talks to the ref and Howdy scratches Idol’s eyes. Idol goes outside and chases Howdy around the ring, Idol doesn’t see Shapiro who levels him and throws him into the ring post then back in the ring. Shapiro puts the boots to Idol and drops some elbows. He tries a piledriver but ends up being back dropped. Idol takes advantage and lands a series of strikes and covers Shapiro who is in the ropes. Flip, flop and fly. Shapiro gets stuck in the ropes and bounces up and down with each elbow Idol delivers to his head. Shapiro is able to use his leverage and he pulls Idol face first into the turnbuckle.Punches to Idol, double fist to the chest and he’s down for a 2 count. Idol gets back up but is dropped again. Shapiro to the top rope and a splash for another 2 count. Shapiro puts Idol in the corner and chokes him with his bandana. Idol escapes after a 4 count and hits a big boot and powerbomb. Cover and a late kick out. Shapiro is able to trip up Idol and he falls to the floor and back in. Shapiro goes for the Iron Claw but its blocked and he’s punched. Idol with a elbow to his head and a lariat. He climbs to the 2nd rope and tries a fist drop but misses. Shapiro punches him and covers for 1, he chokes Idol who pushes Shapiro to the outside. Shapiro climbs back in and goes to the second rope and leaps. He’s caught and power slammed by Idol, he goes for the cover but the official is distracted by Howdy Price. Idol grabs Price which allows Shapiro to load his gloved hand with a piece of contraband and he nails him in the back of the head. Idol drops and Shapiro makes the pin. 1,2,3

Your winner and still United Television Champion Levi Shapiro.

Shapiro takes the title belt and hits Idol with it. Jack Cartwright runs in with a chair to make the save protecting Idol from any more damage.
