MLW FUSION REPORT: LOW KI WASTES NO TIME, VON ERICHS VERSUS PARKS FOR THE TAG TITLES, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2021-01-13 19:49:00

We are in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Rich Bocchini and Jared St. Laurent.

Salina de la Retna, tonight’s executive producer joins Rich and Jared. She asks Rich where is the mask she asked him to wear because he is too ugly for broadcast television. Jared asks about the show and Salina runs through the card.

Match Number One: Low Ki versus Budd Heavy

Ki with a running forearm and Heavy hits the turnbuckles and he is out cold so the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Low Ki

Ki says if anyone knows to satisfy Salina better than anyone, it is him. He calls out King Mo. He says Mo got away with one in Philadelphia but it is not forgotten. The party is not over.

We go to footage from last week when Lio Rush defeated Myron Reed to become the new Middleweight Champion.

Lio Rush says he is the Man of the Hour. This championship proves why he is the right man at the right place at the right time.

Rich mentions that Konnan was supposed to join them and Salina de la Renta shows up and says that she has an idea why Konnan is not here.

We go to footage from San Diego.

We see Salina asking if Konnan was thinking of her when Mil Muertes arrived. You threatened me and my money but you paid the highest price. My name had better been on your lips at the last time. You will only be remembered for the monster who she was forced to unleash. Everyone who has wronged her in MLW will pay the price.

We are back and Tom Lawlor’s Filthy Island will take place on February 17th.

We take a look back at what happened between Mads Krugger and Alexander Hammerstone.

Mads Krugger interrupts the feed and says that he is impressed with Hammerstone’s size and strength. He says that he saw fear in Hammerstone’s eyes. He tells Hammerstone to bring the title to Contra, deep in the underground.

Match Number Two: Mil Muertes (with Salina de la Renta) versus Brian Pillman Jr.

The bell rings and Pillman goes to the floor. Pillman goes back into the ring but back to the floor as he tries to figure out what to do with Muertes. We go to commercial.

We are back and we are told that MLW and IWA Puerto Rico will be working together.

Richard Holliday has some comments. He thanks Salina for the invitation on the show. He says he does not get the proper recognition from MLW, IWA Puerto Rico, the consumers, and Fraudio Vega for not acknowledging he is the Caribbean championship. He mentions that he has elevated that title. He cannot believe that he has to hear Savio claim that he is still the champion and his bulls***.

Holliday tells Savio, any time and anyplace, you can bring your problems while I will bring the title to prove why I am the MLW/IWA Caribbean Champion.

We are reminded that ACH will face Jacob Fatu next week and we will have Tom Lawlor’s Filthy Island on February 17th.

We go to Tom Lawlor.

Tom says it is ridiculous to ask him if he will call this down the middle. It is just as ridiculous that ACH gets a title match before the 2020 Opera Cup winner. Lawlor mentions that he beat ACH in the Opera Cup. He can file a complaint about this, but we will have to wait. First, he has a World Tag Title match to officiate.

We go to comments from Myron Reed and Jordan Oliver.

Reed says he is not a happy camper. He does not have his belt and after he lost his belt, Contra wanted to pull some sucka s*** by attacking him and destroying his vest. Oliver talks about how Contra took their friend too. They want a fight against Contra.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Salina asks how is the show going. She says it has been great.

St. Laurent says if he know that Promociones Dorado can do what they did to Konnan, he would have had it done in their podcast days.

Rich mentions that Promociones Dorado has been bought out and Salina looks shocked.

Salina storms off the set.

We go to Alexander Hammerstone and he says it is funny when someone calls him afraid and asks if he is fearful. He says the answer is yes. He is not afraid of Mads. He is afraid of failure and not living up to what he can be. He has been playing the long gain and running the marathon. At the end is the MLW World Title.

Contra throws up a hurdle and he does not stop running. He leaps the hurdle or knocks it down. He is afraid of what he can do when he brings his best to the ring. He is afraid that he will be fined for what he does to Mads. He says he will come to their playhouse. He is not afraid and he will be there. He will fight Krugger on his terms.

We go to the Top Ten Rankings.
