FORMER WWE CO-PRESIDENTS GEORGE BARRIOS & MICHELLE WILSON LAUNCH INVESTMENT FIRM

Former WWE Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson have launched an investment firm together.

Isos Capital Management, based out of Westport, CT, "will focus on investing in a range of media, entertainment and sports ventures, leveraging the pair’s past experience with the pro wrestling giant and blue-chip brands including the NBA and New York Times", according to a report by Variety.

Barrios and Wilson met while working for WWE and rose to the position of Co-Presidents while overseeing the launch of the WWE Network and the biggest TV deals in its history, but were dropped in January 2020 by Vince McMahon.

It should be interesting to see whether any current or former WWE employees join their new company.

Most recently, they served as Co-Presidents of WWE, Inc. ("WWE") where they co-led the company's day-to-day operations and strategy, building WWE into one of the most successful multi-platform media businesses in the world across traditional, digital, social and direct-to-consumer media platforms. Working together for more than 11 years, Barrios and Wilson's expertise in strategic transformations and value creation led to record revenue, profit and market capitalization.
