Referee Brian Hebner announced he has departed the National Wrestling Alliance as his deal has expired. PWInsider.com can confirm that last year, there was interest from Impact Wrestling in bringing Hebner in, but he was unable to get a release from his NWA deal. Whether he is still Impact-bound remains to be seen:
Thank you to all you great wresting fans and just supporters of are sport. I will move on from @nwa and push forward. Find ways to do what I do and make a stamp. Thank you guys so much. ???? #123

Hebner noted right before the New Year that he was ready to kick off a new chapter in his life and career:
I really can’t wait for 2021!! I’m ready to turn a new chapter over in all phases of life. I’m determined to have a good year. And one that I can say......That’s why you stay the path and believe in yourself. I’m ready. #123

The NWA has looked at resuming production in the first quarter of 2021. Their championships and talents most recently appeared on Primetime Live's weekly PPV series.
