How has no one stolen Jacob Fatu from MLW?

They were smart enough to sign him to a contract?  Seriously, Fatu is awesome and MLW has been great at giving talent a shot, such as MJF.  I would have to think all of the companies know how good Fatu is now.  He’s a stud.  MLW has done a great job with him and I can’t wait for him to take on Hammerstone.

What is your favorite announcing team right now and who is the best play by play guy?

Nigel and Andy Shepherd are my favorite team because they work really well together and they explain everything.  They take into account that the viewer might be new and give the back story as to why things are happening.  I love that.  Plus, Nigel is fantastic in any environment.  They also have the benefit of “just calling the match”, not promoting buzz words or being super inside, which is fun to listen to for me.  On play by play, I still go with Michael Cole.  He is the gold standard to me.

I laugh at all of the people who ask when can WWE run in front of live fans again.  These people don’t realize what a pandemic is I guess.  I have a different question.  I heard Dr. Fauci say that with the vaccine rolling out, he could see full football stadiums in the fall.  So my question is if it appears it will be that way in March, should WWE move WrestleMania to the fall to have fans witness the show?

Could they?  Sure, they could for sure.  But I don’t see that happening.  Having Mania at Mania time is super important to Vince.  With that said, if we are (PLEASE) in that situation in the fall, and WWE couldn’t do it in August, I would move SummerSlam to September (which is still summer) and load up that stadiums with fans.

And, how great will the first shows with fans be?

They will be amazing, for a few reasons.  One, they are missed.  The product is so much better with them there.  But more importantly, it will mean we are heading back to normal.  I can’t wait for that.

Why are some bookers so stubborn in not making changes to improve their product?

Mike Eps and I talked about that on Saturday on the FMB.  It comes down to the writer thinking his creation is great.  It’s hard for a lot of people to edit themselves.  I think almost every creative person would be better off if they had someone they trust to give them valuable feedback, which would be listened to and considered.
