You reported on a virtual meet and greet Mandy Rose is doing under her own name. How is that any different from what WWE fired Zelina Vega over?
I don't know but you bring up a good point. Unless it was a deal booked by WWE (and we haven't see WWE promote it), the deal would certainly be considered a third-party deal and if Vega was penalized for doing it, Rose certainly should be, or else WWE could certainly have criticism of favortism (or worse) lobbed at them.
It seems like just about every major Japanese star has come to the United States to perform in the last decade or so. Can you think of any major names who never performed in the States?
The two major names that come to mind are Toshiaki Kawada and Super Delphin.
Is there any chance for a Christmas miracle and WWE announces they are coming back to live touring this year? Enough time has passed, right?
Absolutely not and I continue to be amazed at the amount of people who write me asking similar questions, so going forward, they will be deleted on basis of stupidity. Not enough time has passed and the level of people being sickened and dying of COVID-19 has never been worse.
What are the people who work on live events doing while WWE isn't touring?
Collecting unemployment and/or looking for a new job. Sadly, the majority of those who worked in that department have been furloughed or worse and that will remain the case until the company can safely resume live events on a consistent basis. Until a COVID-19 vaccine is safely rolled out and the majority are immunized, it's just not an option.
Is Renee Young is still under contract to WWE, how is she doing a podcast?
My guess is that she had a lawyer look at her deal and got clearance that what she's doing would not be in violation of her WWE non-compete. I don't believe she's the type of person that would just flout the legalities involved and put herself in an actionable position.
