MLW will have an episode of Fusion "produced" by Salina de la Renta on 1/6/21. Her storyline of late is that Konnan has accused her of being a mole for CONTRA-Unit, setting the stage for them to take over the company earlier this year to cover for the company's pause during the pandemic. There were several instances of CONTRA "cutting into" the most recent TV episode.
Lio Rush will make his in-ring MLW debut on the 12/23 episode of Fusion. The promotion is already building towards Rush challenging Myron Reed for the MLW Middleweight title.
The 12/23 Fusion episode will be dubbed Kings of Colosseum.
Set for this Wednesday's MLW will be Laredo Kid vs. ACH in an Opera Cup tournament bout as well as Low Ki vs. Davey Boy Smith Jr. in a semi-final tournament match. MLW head Court Bauer stated he felt this episode is the best bell to bell wrestling in MLW TV history.
Bauer also teased the following:
