Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Yuya Uemura. Taguchi wins by submission with a knee lock. Solid match. The veteran, Taguchi, had positive words with Uemura and bowed to him as he left the ring.
El Desperado vs. DOUKI. The match started as a scientific wrestling match between Suzuki-Gun stablemates. But it quickly broke down into a fight. Desperado forces DOUKI to submit to Numero Dos. Awesome match! DOUKI sold his injured leg back to the locker room.
An actor dressed as Don King smoking a cigar gave a promo for Wrestle Kingdom.
Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. SHO. SHO pins Wato with a Shock Arrow. Another awesome match. SHO looks really comfortable in the singles role.
BUSHI vs. Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori forces BUSHI to tap out to a Bone Lock. Great match! Ishimori is steamrolling his potential challengers for his IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title.
Robbie Eagles vs. Hiromu Takahashi. Takahashi pinned Eagles with a Time Bomb II. Another great match! Takahashi took beating in this match with a Turbo Backpack on the ring apron and a Sliced Bread No. 2 from the top rope. Insane. Takahashi takes the mic and thanks Eagles as leaves ringside.
After this event, Hiromu Takahashi and Taiji Ishimori stand alone at 10 points each. El Desperado, Master Wato and SHO follow with 8 points each.
