Tomoaki Honma and Satoshi Kojima vs. Gabriel Kidd and Yuji Nagata. Kojima pins Kidd with a lariat.
Best of Super Jr. 27 matches:
Yuya Uemura vs. Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori gets a submission win with the Bone Lock (Omoplata crossface). Solid match.
Robbie Eagles vs. BUSHI. BUSHI pins Eagles with the MX. Good match. Eagles worked over BUSHI's leg to set up the Robinson Special. But BUSHI was able to fight through the pain and hit his finishers for the win.
Hiromu Takahashi vs. DOUKI. Takahashi pins DOUKI with Time Bomb. Crazy fun match! DOUKI hit a top rope plancha on Takahashi who was on the floor. Takahashi took the full impact right on his neck. Insane. They pulled out all their finishers. DOUKI pulled out another move which I never seen before. Hiromu barely kicked out. This was one of my favorite matches of the Best of Super Jr. 27 so far.
Ryusuke Taguchi vs. SHO. SHO pinned Taguchi with a Shock Arrow. Good match. SHO continues to perform consistently in this Tournament. Luckily, Taguchi wore underwear in this match. No one was exposed to his rear end.
Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. El Desperado. Wato pins Desperado with a jackknife roll up and bridge. WOW! Wato pulls out a win. This was Wato's best match to date in New Japan. During the match, Desperado was very arrogant, and talking trash to Tenzan. He attacked Wato after the match. Tenzan makes the save. Desperado retreats. Master Wato is now tied for the lead with Hiromu Takahashi, SHO and Taiji Ishimori.
