Best of the Super Jr. 27 Matches:
Yuya Uemura vs. BUSHI. BUSHI pins Uemura with a spinning Codebreaker. Solid match.
Master Wato, with Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Robbie Eagles. Wato pins Eagles with an RPP. Eagles looked great despite the defeat. There were some timing issues and missed spots by Wato, however, it was a solid match.
SHO vs. DOUKI. SHO pins DOUKI with a Shock Arrow. Great match! SHO continues to look good as a singles competitor. DOUKI reminds me of Super Nova aka Mike Bucci. Each time I watch him wrestle he pulls out a move I never seen before. DOUKI always takes the fall in Suzuki-Gun tag matches. In the Super Jr., DOUKI gets to show what a great wrestler he is.
Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori pins Taguchi with a roll up, pulling down the pants of Taguchi, exposing his rear end. Taguchi did not fix his tights as Ishimori celebrated his win. Taguchi showed Red Shoes his exposed rear as proof that Ishimori pulled his tights, but the winner was already determined. Taguchi made Red Shoes pull up his tights and went back to the locker room. Funny stuff!
Hiromu Takahashi vs. El Desperado. The finish came when Red Shoes took a bump in the corner and El Desperado hit a low blow on Takahashi. Desperado goes outside to get a chair. Takahashi dared him to hit him in the head. Desperado crushes Takahashi's left leg with the chair with repeated shots. Desperado traps Takahashi in Numero Dos (Stretch Muffler). Desperado grabbed his arms, preventing him from getting to the ropes. Takahashi screamed "GIVE UP!". El Desperado wins by submission. Awesome match! If you only have time to watch one match on this card, this is the one I would recommend.
In the interview area, El Desperado thanked Hiromu Takahashi for the good match.
