Entering today’s shows tied for last place in his block after a time limit draw against Masaaki Mochizuki and a loss against Masa Kitamiya, Kaito Kiyomiya has catapulted into first place in A block following two victories against Manabu Soya and Kazushi Sakuraba.

As has become increasingly common this year, there was another major shift in the junior heavyweight division on today’s second show.

YO-HEY betrayed Daisuke Harada and joined Full Throttle, while Atsushi Kotoge left Full Throttle to reform Momo no Seishun with Harada.

Then, Momo no Seishun challenged HAYATA and Yoshinari Ogawa of Stinger for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. The match will take place on October 11 in EDION Arena Osaka.

Chris Ridgeway, a member of Stinger, has teased a return to NOAH soon on Twitter.

NOAH has confirmed Kazuyuki Fujita, Keiji Mutoh, Kendo Kashin and Masakatsu Funaki will also compete on its final N-1 Victory show on October 11.

It will be Fujita’s first appearance since unsuccessfully challenging Go Shiozaki for the GHC Heavyweight Championship in March.

Funaki debuted as the fifth member of M’s Alliance at NOAH’s KAWASAKI,GO! 2020 show on August 30. The October 11 show will be his second match in the company.

New Japan will hold its fourth G1 Climax show tomorrow, also in Hokkaido General Sports Center Hokkai Kiteru.

Only a limited number of wresters will compete on each G1 Climax show for precautionary reasons. As such, A block competitors will not compete on the undercard of shows featuring B block tournament matches and vice versa.

Tomorrow’s show is exclusively B block wrestlers. Each tournament show will start with a singles match between two young lions (Gabriel Kidd, Yota Tsuji or Yuya Uemura) followed by five tournament matches.
