The game was made with a view of appealing to all gamers, with different characters display varying forms of action on the ring. Characters in the game looked like another 3D version of WWF Wrestlefest, with had an appearance of the action figure.
One of the most striking features of the WWE All Stars was its gaming modes that included the Path of Champions, a legendary 10-man match and its Fantasy Warfare that pitted the heavyweights of the day with modern-day superstars. Being the last arcade-style game to be launched, it has it overhauled the WWE wrestling. However, characters look extremely big than they would and more cartoony.
WWE 2K19
WWE 2K19 came out in 2018 and was released in Xbox One, Playstation 4 and there was a PC version. This is the last game released by Yukes before Visual Concepts took over the projects with the WWE 2K20. This is considered one of the WWE wrestling games of the decade by most avid wrestling fans worldwide.
One of the best features of the game is that it has struck a balance between lots of action and simulation. This was a refinement of three games that the company had produced earlier and had something for both the hardcore and casual wrestling fans. It also has a faster-paced ring action but simplified for fans to master the actual wrestling. Besides, its ladder mini-matches are also more interactive.
Fire Pro Wrestling World
This game was first in 2017 through Steam on the PC. However, it was later released in 2018 in Playstation 4. It is thought to have been the first proper wrestling game since the production of the Fire Pro Wrestling: Returns released in 2007. However, the series came to be in 1989 and with new games built on the initial matches. There were even Japanese-only games in the earlier releases.
The game has responsive and smooth graphic design, bring a feeling of satisfaction and impact. Despite its retro-looking characters, it has deep moves and awesome entertainment. It has computer-controlled AI that was way ahead of its time. Unfortunately, it is not a WWE licensed product.
WWE 13
This game was released in Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. It was the last game under the THQ. However, its original developers, Yukes, has some input on the game. It was also the first game to feature an enhanced version of the Predator Technology, which made the game mechanics better than those of predecessors.
The other enhancement was the weight detection feature. With the feature, you could not pair lightweight wrestlers with super heavyweight ones like Mark Henry and Big Show. This way, it eliminated the need for a sure win for any of the characters on the ring.
Smackdown vs. Raw 2011
This game was released in the Xbox360, Playstation 2 and 3, and Nintendo Wii in 2010. Its wrestling mechanics followed what Yukes had been churning out in the preceding years. However, it also had a more realistic physics engine that impacted extreme sports such as table and ladder matches on the positive side and made more entertaining.
Besides the physics, the game featured a Universe Mode that replaced the General Mode in the games that followed. It also has a new DLC delivery program that allowed gamers to access selected content. In addition, the good old Raw Vs. Smackdown entertainment played well in the game with some reference to the actual matches that happened in the real show.
