WWE NXT UK REPORT

Your host is Andy Shepherd.

We go to Kenny Williams.

He says before he put pen to paper on a WWE contract, Noam Dar was a friend of his. They were as thick as thieves. He says he was a little naive to think that Dar’s success would not get to his head. When they finally met in the ring, Dar became the thing they hated the most . . . a dafty.

Match Number One: Kenny Williams versus Noam Dar (from July 24 2019 episode)

They lock up and Williams backs Dar into the corner and Williams with a clean break. They go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Dar with a wrist lock and take down. Dar with a side head lock and Dar with a snap mare. Williams with a shoulder tackle but Dar with a trip into a front face lock. Williams with a wrist lock but Dar with a front face lock. Williams with a wrist lock but Dar with an Irish whip. Williams floats over and Williams with a single leg trip.

Dar escapes. Williams with a side head lock and Williams misses a drop kick when Dar holds on to the ropes. They lock up and Dar with a wrist lock. Williams with an escape and waist lock. Dar with a standing switch and Dar drops down but Williams walks over Dar and messes with the hair. Dar slaps Williams and Williams with forearms. Dar goes to the floor on an Irish whip and Williams with a drop kick through the ropes. Williams skins the cat to return to the ring and he slides to the floor and hits a jumping double sledge to the back. Dar rebounds off the ropes and clotheslines Williams on the floor.

They return to the ring and Dar gets a near fall. Dar with a wrist lock and he gets a near fall. Dar with a chin lock and Williams with a jaw breaker. Williams with forearms to Dar but Dar with a kick. Williams with an Irish whip and a thrust kick to Dar. Williams with running forearms and a springboard back elbow to Dar. Williams with a suicide dive to Dar. Williams and Dar are on the apron and Williams with a springboard side kick followed by a suicide dive. Williams with a back elbow off the turnbuckles. Williams with a snap mare driver for a near fall. Dar with a rollup for a near fall. Williams misses a springboard cross body and Dar with a spinning fisherman’s buster for a near fall. Dar sets for the Nova Roller but Williams with an uppercut and rollup for a near fall. Dar with an arm bar submission and Williams gets close to the ropes but Dar with an ankle lock. Williams escapes. Dar with a kick to the knees and Williams with a bicycle kick. Dar with double thrusts and uppercut but Williams with a clothesline and both men are down.

Williams with forearms but Dar with a kick to the leg. Dar sends Williams over the top rope and Williams holds on and Dar applies the knee bar and grapevines the leg. Dar kicks Williams in the back to add more pressure but Williams is able to get to the ropes to force a break. Dar grabs Williams and takes his shoe. Williams with a rollup for a near fall. The referee takes the shoe from Dar and Dar with a low kick when the referee was not looking and Dar hits the Nova Roller for the three count.

Winner: Noam Dar

We go to commercial.

We are back with Kay Lee Ray. She says the last few months have been tough for some but others have helped their community or learned a new language or skill. She says that while she has not defended the title recently, each day means her title reign is more illustrious and she will go down in the record books. When she gets back into that ring, she will show why she is the most dominant.

Toni Storm says her career started in Australia and that was the first place she faced Dakota Kai. The stakes in NXT UK were so much higher. It was their first time in a WWE ring together.

Match Number Two: Toni Storm versus Dakota Kai (from November 7 2018 episode)

They lock up and Storm backs Kai into the corner and Storm gives a clean break. They lock up again and Kai backs Storm into the corner and Dakota with a clean break. They shake hands and both go for kicks but both block the kicks. They put the other’s foot down at the same time and Kia misses a round kick. Dakota with a take down and double stomp followed by a running kick for a near fall. Kai with a forearm but Storm with strikes and a back heel kick followed by a boot to the chest for a near fall.

Storm with another near fall. Storm kicks Kai in the head and Storm with a European uppercut. Storm with another European uppercut and she goes for an STF. Storm leans back to add more pressure while Kai tries to do anything to escape the hold or get to the ropes. Kai crawls to the ropes an almost gets there but Storm leans back again. Kai gets to the ropes and Storm has to release the hold.

Storm with boots to the back of the head followed by a forearm. Storm kicks Kai while Kai is in the ropes. Kai and Storm both go for forearms at the same time and they do it a second time. Kai blocks a forearm and Kai with forearms of her own. Kai with a scorpion kick but Storm with a head butt and both women are down. Kai with forearms and Storm fires back. Storm with the advantage but Kai with a round kick to the temple followed by a second round kick. Storm blocks a kick and hits a leg trapped German suplex. Storm with a running back elbow into the corner and Kai with a Yakuza Kick from second base. Kai misses a face wash but she hits a thrust kick when Storm charges at her. Kai has a kick blocked and Storm with a German suplex.

Storm with a running double knee strike in the corner followed by an Air Raid Crash neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Toni Storm

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sam Gradwell says if you have forgotten him it is alright because he has been away for a while. He had knee surgery and for the last two years he has been playing ring around the rosey wit the medical staff. He is coming back to NXT UK. He says he has been studying human behavior. He says he holds grudges and there is a storm coming to NXT UK that can crash your uncle’s greenhouse.

Zack Gibson mentions that he got to return to Liverpool with James Drake at his side and the conquered all of Europe. Trying to play spoiler in Liverpool was Flash Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews. Mark wastes too much time playing his pop music. Flash Morgan Webster wastes too much time. They have been perfecting their craft.

Match Number Three: James Drake and Zack Gibson versus Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster in a SemiFinal Match for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship (from January 9 2019 episode)

Drake and Andrews start things off and Gibson distracts Andrews and Drake hits him from behind and then he hits Webster on the apron. Drake with kicks and Gibson tags in and goes after Webster. Drake tags back in and they hit a Doomsday Device for a near fall. Drake sends Andrews to the floor and Gibson tags in. Gibson with a back breaker while Drake hits a pescado. Gibson gets a near fall.

Andrews with a forearm but Gibson with a double thrust to the throat and Gibson gets a near fall. Gibson with a chin lock using Andrews’ arm for more leverage. Drake tags in and connects with forearm and gets a near fall. Drake with a cravate. Gibson tags in and he kicks Andrews. Gibson with a short arm clothesline and he gets a near fall. Gibson with a half nelson and chin lock. Drake tags in and Andrews escapes a slam but Andrews is Irish whipped into the corner. Andrews ducks Gibson and Drake but they stop Andrews. Webster tags in and he hits a quebrada followed by drop kicks.

Webster wit a clothesline and punches. Drake sends Webster to the apron and then he hits a cannonball onto Gibson. Webster with a Baba O’Reilly Buster for a near fall. Gibson tags in and he puts Webster on the ropes and works on the injured arm. Webster sends Gibson over the top rope to the floor. Andrews tags in and hits a plancha into a rana. Webster wit a knee to Drake and then Webster flips Andrews onto Gibson but Gibson kicks out at two. Drake pulls Webster off the apron and Andrews slides under Gibson but Gibson hits Ticket to Ride for a near fall. Drake tags in and Andrews punches Drake from Gibson’s shoulders. Andrews with a Frankensteiner that sends Drake into Gibson. Webster with a senton and then Andrews with a reverse rana while Webster hits a jumping knee. Gibson pushes Webster onto Andrews to break up the cover.

Andrews with a suicide dive but Gibson catches Andrews and hits Helter Skelter on the ramp. Drake with a rollup for a near fall. Webster with a head butt and then he sees Andrews on the ramp. Gibson tags in and Gibson with a double thrust to the throat followed by Ticket to Ride for the three count.

Winners: Zack Gibson and James Drake
