Eddie Kingston, the long-time stalwart of the independent scene, has officially signed with All Elite Wrestling, the company announced today:

Kingston, 38, debuted two weeks ago with an incredible promo and a tremendous match against TNT Champion Cody that was so good, it was just a matter of time before he was locked up contractually.
Kingston was seen in Impact Wrestling several years ago and has been a staple of the independent wrestling scene for many years, including Ring of Honor, CHIKARA. PWG and CZW. In the NWA, he was regularly teaming with Homicide. Kingston also had a short run in Impact Wrestling, where he the mouthpiece for Santana and Ortiz, now members of the Inner Circle in AEW.
A tremendous talker, Kingston can be compared to the late Dick Murdoch in terms of toughness and a legitimate looking in-ring style. He is also very much influenced by 1990s Japanese pro wrestling, specifically Toshiaki Kawada, Kenta Kobashi and Tatsumi Fujinami, among others.
