WWE NXT UK REPORT

Your host is Andy Shepherd.

We go to Joseph Conners for the first match this week.

He says the turning point in his life and this match showed that he had to stop pretending and stop serving the many masters in NXT UK. This is a reminder that he is better and that he is worthy.

Match Number One: Mark Andrews versus Joseph Conners (from June 26, 2019 episode)

They lock up and Conners with an arm bar take down into a wrist lock. Andrews tries for a reversal but Conners maintains the advantage. Andrews with a leg sweep and cover but Conners kicks out. Andrews with an arm drag into an arm bar. Conners with an arm bar and Irish whip but Andrews floats over and he takes Conners down but Conners with a neck snap. Conners kicks Andrews and stretches him in the ropes.

Conners with a neck breaker for a near fall. Conners with a back elbow in the corner followed by more elbows to the head. Conners with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Conners with boots to Andrews. Andrews with punches and forerms. Conners with a knee to stop Andrews. Conners with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Conners with a boot to the head and he goes to the floor. Conners chokes Andrews and pulls his head over the edge of the ring. The referee warns Conners.

Conners with a slingshot knee to the head. Andrews with chops and forearms. Andrews slides under a clothesline and hits a kick. Andrews with a Northern Lights suplex and he rolls through but Conners with a rollup. Andrews sends Conners to the floor and Andrews with a suicide dive. Andrews with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Andrews with a Tiger Feint Kick to the back and he leaps over Conners on a springboard move. Conners with a sunset flip buckle bomb followed by a gourdbuster for a near fall.

Andrews with an inside cradle for a near fall. Andrews goes for a backslide but Conners escapes. Andrews with Stundog Millionaire and then he goes up top for a shooting star press and the three count.

Winner: Mark Andrews

We go to commercial.

We are back with A-Kid. He says since his debut he has achieved a lot of his dreams. Those are just the beginning. He is not just a technician, he is an artist. He wants to paint a masterpiece on that canvas. He has been studying every competitor in NXT UK while away from the ring. He knows everyone’s strengths and weaknesses. He will have a few new tricks to show you soon.

Isla Dawn talks about her maiden encounter with Xia Brookside. As high as Xia attempts to fly, I come from the earth and I will do everything I can to clip Xia’s wings.

Match Number Two: Isla Dawn versus Xia Brookside (from January 9, 2019 episode)

Xia offers her hand and Dawn shakes it. They lock up and Dawn with a wrist lock. Xia with a reversal. Dawn with a reversal of her own. Xia uses the ropes to help with a reversal. Dawn with a reversal and arm drag. They lock up and Xia with a side head lock. Dawn with a top wrist lock take down into a key lock. Xia with a head scissors take down. Isla escapes and she slams Xia’s head into the mat.

Isla sends Xia’s head into the mat again as Isla works on the lower body. Xia gets a near fall with a lateral press. They lock up and Isla with a straitjacket choke but Xia escapes but Isla returns to the hold. Xia is able to escape and reverse the hold. Isla with another reversal. Xia bridges into a reversal. Isla with another reversal. Isla uses her knees to add more pressure to the hold. Xia with a reversal.

Isla with an arm drag and Xia with a rollup for a near fall. Isla with a near fall. They alternate near falls. Isla with a back slide for a near fall. Xia with a crucifix for a near fall. Isla blocks a victory roll and gets the three count.

Winner: Isla Dawn

We are back and Dani Luna says every good has its bad. Every light has its dark. Every person has their shadow. She hit the ground running and in five matches she was toe to toe with Kay Lee Ray. She couldn’t do what she said she could so why bother. Maybe you have only seen one side of Dani Luna. She knows that Dani Luna might not be worth the air you breathe, but I will show everybody that I belong. The courage to do what is right and power to do whatever I want. They are going to realize that Dani Luna is something different. Something new, something special.

Noam Dar mentions that he is turning 27 and he is expecting millions of presents from you, but he has a present for you and it is him. He faced Pete Dunne for the NXT UK Championship. It solidified his desire and need to be at the top of the NXT UK roster.

Match Number Three: Noam Dar versus Pete Dunne for the WWE NXT UK Championship (from October 17, 2018 episode)

They lock up and Dunne backs Dar into the ropes. Dunne with a clean break and he mocks Dar. Dar offers his hand and Dar pulls it away. Dar trips Dunne and then he spins Dunne around before getting a near fall with a back slide. Dar with a side head lock but Dunne with a clothesline. Dunne sets for a surfboard and he starts to work on the arm and then he stomps on the knees. Dar with an Irish whip and Dar stops Dunne from flipping over with a clothesline to the back of the leg.

Dar pulls Dunne over the apron and connects with a punch and then he kicks Dunne and Dunne falls to the floor. They return to the ring and Dar with a kick to the arm. Dunne tries to keep Dar from working on the arm by kicking at Dar. Dunne with an X Plex and both men are down. Dunne with punches to Dar as he backs Dar into the corner. The referee warns Dunne. Dar with an Irish whip and Dunne flips over and hits an enzuigiri. Dunne with a waist lock and Dar with a standing switch. Dunne lands on his feet on a German suplex and Dunne with a kick followed by a power bomb for a near fall. Dunne goes to the turnbuckles and Dar stops him but Dunne has Dar’s nose. Dar kicks Dunne in the leg and Dunne falls to the mat. Dar with head butts to the chest and he hits a running back elbow into the corner. Dar with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Dunne and Dar go to the apron and they exchange punches and kicks. Dunne grabs the hand and pulls at the fingers. Dar with a kick to the head. Dar with a fisherman’s suplex onto the apron and both men fall to the floor after the impact.

Both men make it back into the ring at nine. They crawl to each other in the center of the ring and Dunne grabs Dar’s hand. Dar with a forearm and kicks to the leg. Dunne pulls at the fingers but Dar with an uppercut. Dunne goes for a triangle but Dar gets a near fall. Dunne goes for a cross arm breaker but Dar counters into an ankle lock but Dunne is able to power out of the hold. Both men go for clotheslines and Dunne with a forearm. Dar with a clothesline and Dunne with an enzuigiri. Dar with a clothesline and both men are down.

Dunne with a Kimura but Dar counters into a package suplex. Dar with a running kick to the knee. Dunne with a forearm to Dar and he goes for the Bitter End but Dar counters with a gutbuster into a knee bar. Dar with a grapevine of the leg but Dunne is able to get to the ropes to force a break. Dunne goes for the fingers again and he stomps on the hand and hits the Bitter End for the three count.

Winner: Pete Dunne
