Over the last day, there have been a lot of social media engagement and thanks for Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker following the end of WWE Network's Undertaker - The Last Ride documentary series, rightfully lauding him for his amazing career in the wake of "retirement."
Only, if you watch the episode, Calaway never specifically said he was retired. Not once.
Mark Calaway stated he was OK with not returning to the ring and wanted to be more present and "in the moment" with family and friends (which is something we should all aspire to do) but he never specifically said this was the end forever, just the end of that chapter of his life.
As Undertaker said, there is an "In emergency, break glass" for the character if Vince McMahon needs it.
So, remember, he never said definitively this was the end...and what pro wrestler ever does stay away forever?
Don't assume The Undertaker is retired, because that word was never stated.
