I remember awhile back Chris Candido's brother was talking about a documentary on his life. Whatever happened to that project?
I reached out to Johnny Candido to ask and was told they had been delayed to the editor working on other projects but they are hoping to be back to work on the documentary soon. When it is completed, we'll have full details. I know it's something that has been extremely important to Johnny for obvious reasons.
Even though we all know that it was not really pee that Jeff Hardy threw at Sheamus, but still, in this day and age, especially with the virus, I think that was a very irresponsible thing to do and portray as real. What are your thoughts on this?
I thought it was a stupid angle, nothing more.
If WWE was willing to strip Sami Zayn of the IC title because of COVID-19, why didn't they just strip Jordan Devlin of the Cruiserweight belt for the same reason instead of doing this whole "interim" thing? It seems so weird and unnecessary that he's still champion while El Hijo del Fantasma is champ too.
Different creative teams for Smackdown and NXT. NXT was trying to create a situation similar to UFC's interim champions where the two titleholders could face off by using more sports-oriented terminology.
What wrestlers do you think should have been world champion but never got the chance? I still think it was foolish to never put world titles on Scott Hall, Owen Hart and William Regal.
Ted DiBiase, Roddy Piper and Mr. Perfect are three that come to my mind.
What wrestlers or events do you think Dark Side of the Ring could possibly cover in Season Three? Seems like they've covered the biggest topics. Maybe Black Saturday, Muhammad Hassan, or Rikidozan's murder?
I know they have talked about the Inoki-North Korea event. I think Tammy Sytch would be a fascinating story to cover.
