GREATEST WRESTLING MATCH HYPE, RYKER’S COMMENTS, BLOODY CODY AND MORE

Why is Cody blading for a TV match?  If it’s going to be used at all, shouldn’t it be for special times only?

I don’t want to see blood at all given all we know about how disease is transmitted but yes, if it’s going to happen, it should be in a special occasion, not in a babyface vs. babyface match on free TV.

Should WWE be advertising a match as the greatest wrestling match ever when they have a match between AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan on the same card?

I don’t think they should be using that moniker no matter who is in the card.  They are setting a bar that is almost impossible to hit.  I think whoever came up with that concept really put Randy Orton and Edge behind the 8 ball.

Jaxson Ryker's ill-timed tweet of support for Trump received a lot of heat from others within WWE, and with good reason.  The McMahon family are also known supporters of Trump.  Although no one would ever outright say it, are there people employed by WWE that may privately resent the McMahon family's known support of Trump?

I can’t say that they resent them but suffice to say that there are people in WWE that absolutely due not share Vince and Linda’s view of Donald Trump as President.

Why is MVP in the main event of a Raw in 2020?

To help add heat to the Bobby Lashley-Drew McIntyre feud.  You may not think much of him but he can still go and looks good.  I don’t have any problem with him wrestling.  He’s only 46 years old.

I just read your coverage of Jaxson Ryker’s tweet and the WWE Superstar reaction to it and I wanted your thoughts. Not your thoughts on what he said, but the response it elicited. I don’t even know who Jaxson Ryker or anyone else you listed is. I check your site daily to stay caught up but I’m not real current on today’s stars. Either way, regardless of everyone's political opinion, the responses I read seemed terribly ignorant to me. Doesn’t Jaxson Ryker have a right to support who he wants? I could never imagine piling on someone over a difference of opinion. Kayla Braxton’s response in particular suggests that because his view is different than her’s, he’s “spreading the wrong message”. Mustafa Ali says, “I now understand what you stand for”. Does he? I understand that Donald Trump is a very polarizing figure and Jaxson made the choice to put something online for all to see. But this non-acceptance of a difference of opinion is just sad to me.  Anyhow, I’m not asking for you to make a political statement, I was just curious if you had any thoughts.  Thanks for everything you do everyday.

I won’t get into my thoughts on the issue, just the facts.  One, yes Ryker is guaranteed by free speech to say whatever he wants to say.  However, the people you mention also have the exact same right.  In their opinion, Ryker tweeting support after the Trump Administration shot gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protesters so that he could go do a photo op with the Bible really offended them.  When they saw a colleague seemingly support the Administrations actions, they exercised their right to tell him what they think of him.  I don’t see it as a simple “chocolate ice cream is better than vanilla” disagreement.  It’s an extremely hot button issue so if someone is going to take a stand on the extreme side, they are inviting rebuttal.  I understand why he got the responses that he did.
