WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: RICOCHET AND CEDRIC ALEXANDER IN SINGLES ACTION

We are at the WWE Performance Center and your announcers are Tom Phillips and Montel Vontavious Porter.

Match Number One: Ricochet versus Shane Thorne

Ricochet with an ankle take down but Thorne works on the leg. Ricochet with a take down and he works on the leg. Ricochet gets a near fall and then applies a wrist lock. Thorne with a side head lock take down and Ricochet gets a near fall with a rollup. Thorne with a shoulder tackle and Ricochet kips up.

Thorne blocks a kick and flips Ricochet back to his feet. Ricochet with a sliding trip to Thorne followed by a springboard splash. Thorne gets into the ropes and Ricochet backs off. Thorne kicks Ricochet away but Thorne is sent to the apron. Thorne with a forearm and he tries to suplex Ricochet to the floor but Ricochet lands on the apron.

Thorne with an arm wringer on the apron. Thorne with kicks to the shoulder. Thorne with a wrist lock but Ricochet with punches. Thorne with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Thorne misses a cannonball when Ricochet moves out of the corner. Ricochet with chops and a punch but he feels the damage already done to the shoulder. Ricochet with a kick for a near fall.

Ricochet with a running chop in the corner. Thorne with an Irish whip and Ricochet floats over and hits a cross body followed by a shooting star press but Thorne gets his knees up and he gets a near fall. Thorne goes for the crossface chicken wing but Ricochet blocks it and counters into a poison rana. Ricochet hits Kick Back for the three count.

Winner: Ricochet

We are back with a look at what happened at the start of Smackdown with Jeff Hardy and Elias and then Jeff Hardy’s return at the end of the show.

Match Number Two: Cedric Alexander versus Shelton Benjamin

They lock up and Benjamin with a waist lock. Alexander with a standing switch. Benjamin with a hammer lock and Alexander with a side head lock. They lock up and Alexander with a wrist lock. Benjamin with a top wrist lock and he takes Alexander to the mat. Benjamin gets a near fall. Alexander with a monkey flip and he teases a round kick and Benjamin backs off.

Benjamin with a waist lock and Alexander with a standing switch. Benjamin and Alexander with standing switches. Alexander with a drop kick for a near fall. Alexander with an arm bar. Benjamin with a wrist lock and Alexander with a reversal. Benjamin with a punch to get out of the wrist lock. Benjamin kicks Alexander and connects with knees in the corner. Alexander with punches and kicks. Benjamin sends Alexander to the apron and Alexander with a forearm. Benjamin with a jumping knee to stop a springboard move from Alexander.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Benjamin with a rear chin lock. Alexander with forearms and Benjamin with a back body drop. Benjamin gets a near fall. Benjamin chokes Alexander in the corner. Benjamin with a knee drop. Alexander with punches and Benjamin punches back but Alexander with the advantage followed by a forearm in the corner and a tornado DDT for a near fall.

Alexander lands on his feet on a German suplex attempt and Benjamin hits a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Alexander avoids Paydirt and gets a near fall with a rollup. Alexander escapes a power bomb attempt and he hits the Neuralizer for a near fall. Benjamin escapes a Lumbar Check attempt but Alexnader hits a Michinoku Driver for the three count.

Winner: Cedric Alexander
