We start off with Renee Young outside the Performance Center and she says a man in a black shirt and black pants was involved in an accident and Elias is being tended to.
The police officer on the scene sees that the rental car is Jeff Hardy's.
We go to Kayla Braxton with Braun Strowman who saw what happened. Braun says he saw a car drive by and there was a crash. The person ran away and then he saw Elias down. Braun says that he hopes they find the person who did it.
We see Jeff Hardy struggling to get up and the police officer asks his name and if he was driving. Jeff is asked if he was drinking. The police officer says he smells like the bottles in the car.
The officer tries to tell Hardy he is going to be taken downtown but Jamie Noble and Jason Jordan try to help him.
Jeff wants to know what is happening.
Jeff sees Elias being put in the ambulance and he wants to know what is going on.
Jeff is put in a police car and taken away.
We go to commercial.
We are at the WWE Performance Center and your announcers are Corey Graves and Michael Cole.
Adam Pearce is telling everyone what happened with Elias. He says Elias is okay and the injuries are not life threatening. Elias is out of the tournament. Adam is told that Jeff Hardy has been arrested.
Sheamus says that is nothing new and is that his fifth or sixth strike. Sheamus calls him a pathetic junkie.
AJ says it is simple. It is him versus Daniel Bryan for the title.
Daniel Bryan suggests that they each get to pick an opponent. AJ calls Daniel an idiot. He tells Daniel he is getting a free ride to the finals. Daniel says he is not a coward, he wants to fight.
Sheamus agrees with Daniel and he says he deserves another shot. Jeff had to be on something in order to beat him last week. He wants to face Daniel Bryan.
Baron Corbin says if Sheamus gets a free shot, he wants one too. He will face AJ Styles.
AJ says he did not sign up for this and the guys who are complaining lost. AJ says he is taking his free ride to the finals.
Adam congratulates AJ for being a team player.
Sheamus says it will be him versus Baron versus Bryan and the winner faces AJ in the finals.
Jey Uso says that Sheamus and Baron lost and he should have a chance.
Dolph says that he is a six time Intercontinental Champion.
Chad Gable says that we did not forget he is a multi time champion but he is an enormous jackass.
Adam Pearce says if Daniel wants to compete, he can and AJ will have a free ride to the finals.
We will have a battle royal to see who faces Daniel Bryan tonight and the winner will face AJ Styles in two weeks.
Daniel says that was a great idea and AJ calls Daniel an idiot.
Match Number One: Battle Royal to Determine Daniel Bryan's opponent (and then determine who faces AJ Styles in the Finals)
The bell rings and Metalik with a kick from the apron. Gulak sends Nakamura to the apron and Nakamura tries to send Gulak to the apron. Metalik with a splash to Cesaro. Sheamus has Dolph on the apron. Dorado goes to the apron but he slides back in as he avoids Cesaro. Dorado with forearms and a chop to Cesaro but Dorado is sent to the apron but he claws to the ropes. Cesaro kicks Gulak who is on the apron. Jimmy with a punch to Corbin. Gulak punches Cesaro and gets back into the ring.
Nakamura is sent to the apron and ZIggler holds on to the rope to avoid being eliminated by Cesaro. Dorado lands on the apron when Sheamus tries to eliminate him. Nakamura with a knee to Metalik and then Dorado with shoulders in the corner. Sheamus kicks Jimmy and Corbin kicks Shorty. Metalik sends Cesaro to the apron. Sheamus yells at Cole and Shorty has Sheamus hanging in a precarious position. Dorado is sent into the turnbuckles but Corbin misses a splash. Dorado and Metalik work on Corbin. Corbin with a kick to Metalik and he sends Dorado to the apron. Dorado with a kick but Corbin with a punch to eliminate Dorado.
Corbin is sent to the apron and Drew with forearms. Sheamus tries to clothesline Metalik over the top rope but Metalik stays in the ring. Corbin eliminates Gulak. Nakamura puts Shorty on the turnbuckles but misses the knee. Shorty tries to eliminate Nakamura while Jey is sent to the apron by Cesaro. Ziggler and Corbin try to take care of Metalik but he hits a handspring double elbow. Ziggler with a super kick to Metalik and Corbin eliminates Metalik. Corbin tries to elimnate Corbin but Corbin stops and Ziggler says he was messing around. Ziggler is eliminated by Corbin.
Jey super kicks Corbin over the top rope to eliminate him.
We go to commercial.
We are back and there are five men left in the match. Nakamura chokes Jey while Cesaro and Sheamus reunite to work over Shorty and they hit a double shoulder tackle. Sheamus goes after Shorty while Cesaro helps Nakamura with Jey. Shorty with an arm bar in the ropes and he kicks Sheamus from the turnbuckles and hits a tornado DDT. Jey with a super kick to Cesaro and then Nakamura. Shorty with a rolling kick into the corner on Cesaro followed by a running hip strike by Jey. Nakamura misses an enzuigiri while Nakamura kicks Jey. Cesaro hits Shorty from behind and Nakamura falls to the apron. Cesaro with a European uppercut and Shorty hangs on to the ropes. Shorty with kicks and a side head lock to pull Cesaro to the floor and he is eliminated.
Shorty with elbows to Cesaro who is trying to eliminate Shorty after being eliminated. Nakamura with knees to Shorty. Nakamura misses a series of kicks and Shorty with a German suplex over the top rope to eliminate Nakamura. While Nakamura argues with the referees, Cesaro eliminates Shorty, despite being elminated.
Jey with punches to Sheamus but Sheamus sends Jey to the apron. Jey drops Sheamus on the top rope and then kicks him. Jey goes up top and leaps over Sheamus and clotheslines Sheamus to the apron. Sheamus pulls Jey to the apron over the top rope. Jey with punches and a chop. Jey has a super kick blcoked and Sheamus pushes Jey into the ring post and then connects with a Brogue Kick to knock Jey to the floor.
Winner: Sheamus
Sonya Deville says she wrecked one beach blonde barbie doll. She tells Lacey Evans that she will suffer the same face so she can put her hair up and square up.
Lacey Evans, who was standing behind Sonya, pushes Sonya from behind and tells the nastie she will see her in the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Shorty G blames Cesaro for losing and having an opportunity taken from him. Cesaro says this is the big leagues and you are a little lost. Cesaro says he did Shorty G a favor. He says he will let Shorty be the bigger man or he can face him in the ring.
Shorty punches Ceasro and accepts the challenge.
Match Number Two: Lacey Evans versus Sonya Deville
Sonya goes for the legs but Lacey avoids her. Lacey goes into the referee's position and Sonya assumes the position and Lacey escapes and takes Sonya to the mat with a double leg take down. They lock up and Sonya with a shoulder tackle. Sonya and Lacey put their hair up. Sonya misses a punch and Lacey with a kick. Lacey pulls out a napkin and wipes her forehead and throws it at Sonya. Sonya with a punch and she sends Lacey into the turnbuckles. Sonya sends Lacey into the turnbuckles and she punches Lacey.
Sonya stands on Lacey's hair and Lacey kicks Sonya. Sonya works on the knee and then kicks Lacey and gets a near fall. Sonya stands on the hair but Lacey with a head scissors. Lacey with a kick and face plant. Lacey Gator Rolls Sonya to the apron and then she puts the ring skirt over Sonya. Sonya with a take down on the floor followed by punches.
The referee resumes his count and gets to ten.
Double Count Out
After the match, Sonya sends Lacey into the announce table. Lacey sends Sonya into the edge of the announce table.
Lacey wants Sonya to return to the ring to continue their battle, but Sonya says this will continue on her terms
We go to the Forgotten Sons.
They introduce themselves and Wesley says he appreciates what Jaxson and Steve did to serve their country. Wesley says they will no longer turn the other cheek. Our blood was on your hands and now your blood is on our hands.
Nikki Cross says she has a surprise for Alexa Bliss and then the New Day sneak up on Alexa.
