By Mike Johnson on 2020-05-27 23:07:00

AEW's Countdown to Double or Nothing special on Friday 5/22 garnered 344,000 overnight viewers. It brought in 0.10 in 18-49 demographic.

FTR, the former WWE Revival, officially debuted on tonight's edition of Dynamite, continuing the build towards a bout against The Young Bucks that began years ago on social media.  The team already has an official AEW shirt:

Britt Baker announced she would return from her injuries at the 9/5 All Out PPV.

The injury to Marq Quen on Dynamite during the opening six man tag was a worked injury to set up Matt Hardy's exit (helping him to the back) to explain why he left as the Butcher and The Blade attacked the Bucks, leading into FTR hitting the ring.

Former Impact star Rebel was the woman assisting Britt Baker on stage on Dynamite tonight.

Tonight's Battle Royal was the official in-ring Dynamite debut of Sonny Kiss.  It was also Luther's in-ring Dynamite debut.

In the ring with Tyson tonight were MMA stars Vitor Belfort, Henry Cejudo, 2019 UFC Hall of Famer Rashad Evans and actor Mickey Gooch, a good friend of Tyson.  Cejudo tweeted:

The official promotional partners of the AEW action figures when they are released this August will be Wal-Mart and RingsideCollectibles.com

AEW is taping next week's edition of Dynamite tomorrow.  We have heard Mike Tyson is not scheduled for tomorrow, but obviously, that could always change.    Tyson attended a Memorial Day party the company put on over the weekend.

The following has been officially announced for next week's episode:

*AEW TNT Champion Cody vs. Jungle Boy in Cody's first-ever title defense.

*AEW Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega & Adam Page vs. Jimmy Havoc and Kip Sabian.

*Chris Jericho in action.
